*** OFFICIAL JUNE 2014 SAT INTERNATIONAL ***

“In orgin” is correct

(a+b)/2= sqrt(ab)
If a<0 then b<0, (a+b)/2 <0 while sqrt(ab)>0 so no, a<0 is not correct

After you square the both sides of an equation, not all the answers you get will be correct answer of the original equation.
For example, sqrt(2-x)=x have only 1 answer x=1 while 2-x= x^2 have 2 answer x=1 and x=-2.
And you can easily see that a=b <0 is wrong by plugging in some values, for example a=b=-1 is clearly wrong because it leads to -1 =1

Does anyone know the curve for Writing?

Yeah would the writing curve be harsh this time or in out favor ?

I hope it’s lenient since a few of the questions were quite tricky.

The test was the same as the June 2013 U.S’s
And for the June 2013’s:
-Math and Writing were GENEROUS
-CR was not… Unfortunately!

That’s good to hear.

Any idea what will be the CR score with 8 wrong,3 miss?

@Phongtheha‌ what would be my writing score with 2 wrong and a 9 essay?

@usmanfcbarca‌ I think it will be around 650.

@Sparkkid1234 probably 750+. Someone in Jun 2013 test(the same as ours) got 800 in writing section with a 9 essay. I think his might get 0 wrong about grammar but not sure.

@xqfqyuki‌ Thanks :)

What would be the CR score if someone gets 7 wrong ?

@ShreyM‌ Around 680

@Phongtheha‌ wow that cr curve is surely harsh
@xqfqyuki‌ thanks, i can’t find the June 2013 US thread anywhere, where did you get the person’s score? can you find the thread on collegeconfidential?

Sorry 7 wrong is around 700-710. But I’m not so sure actually, I only know the Math

@Phongtheha‌ then what would be the score were I to get 2 math questions wrong (1 grid-in)

@Sparkkid1234‌ I’m sure it is 760

To those with experimental critical Reading section: Did you have a math in which the last question was related to salads and the answer was 80?

@Mimi96‌ yup it was 80
