*** OFFICIAL JUNE 2014 SAT INTERNATIONAL ***

this thread is for international students who will take the june sat test , try to post how did you Preparing for it .

I’m a junior and I’ll be taking it this June in Lebanon. I’ve only started studying  does anyone have any advice? Mine is make a study schedule, as print out a calendar and on each day plan what you’re going to study (vocabulary or math etc) and how many practice tests you are going to do. This goes specifically for the procrastinating students. You can also sign up for the online course on collegeboard.org and take notes, write EVERYTHING down and highlight the things you think you need to focus on. When practicing, write down on a piece of paper things you keep forgetting to do in the test (for eg: you don’t pay attention whether you are required to order in increasing or decreasing order in maths so you mess up) and the night before the test read that paper carefully.
Good luck
Btw anyone know how I can get someone to evaluate the essays I am practicing to write??

How guys are u prepping?
I am currently using grubers but i do not know how to use it efficiently.
Please anyone can u s hare how to use this book efficiently

i’m using now for math barron’s + princeton , and i hopes to finish them before the test  , i hopes also to help me to raise my score by 150 points  .

Some say Gruber’s is awful for CR and writing. Good for math, though.
I bought the BB like 2 weeks ago. Im also using The Ultimate Guide by Erika Meltzer for writing, 'tis pretty decent.

Im worried about the math section, i do usually 660-700 on the BB tests, but i REALLY need to get a 800. It has been very hard to improve lately  does anyone has any tips ? I mean, i bought no books to study for math, so im relying on the BB questions only. I though it’d be wise to buy the Gruber’s on Amazon, but not sure 'twill arrive in time  any tips ?

Im from brazil, by the way.

You can see this thread for math

Hi guys! I’m gonna take the SAT this June too. Well luckily my previous school did a preparatory class for SAT and I was one of the many who joined the class. Up to now, I’m using a few prep books like Princeton, Barron and Kaplan. I’m planning to finish up all this books and take some important notes and yes memorize those ‘lexicons’ too. By the way, I only started to prepare for this test since 3-4 months ago but I wasn’t really into it hehe.

I have no idea how to improve my scores efficiently 'cause my previous SAT Practice Test scores were really bad and yeah I’m so scared now! Thanks by the way for the tips above  And oh I’m from Malaysia

Any tips on how to get essays evaluated?

From UAE.

guys how did you prepare for june writing !! , and if i finished the BB what will be my chance to get 700+ ?

@mohitchauhan use this rubrichttp://professionals.collegeboard.com/testing/sat-reasoning/scores/essay/guide

Guys, I’m nervous about the writing now because everyone’s saying how the may sat writing was more difficult than usual.

@ahmed4321‌ finishing the BB means nothing. you have to be thorough and check up all questions, even the ones you got right.you should’ve left at least one or two sections in order too see how well you are doing.

Have you tried the Official practice tests yet ? In case you have not, just google it “official practice tests SAT” and try one section out just to see how well you’re doing.

@Annl233‌ i think there’s no reason for worries. If the last one was hard, i think the next one’s gonna be easier. Not sure, though. i could be wrong.

heyy there’s anybody from New Zealand out there ??

only 6 days left :O

Guys… help me out!
I’m doing pretty well on other sections…but my CR score is stuck at 650. I really need to score 700+.
I’m using Blue Book and have taken 6 tests… but my CR score is always around 650.
Any tip for improvement???
