Official June 2nd SATI Thread

Hahaha. I wonder if they noticed. You should tell CB. ;)

nah dont they’d probably cancel your score out of hubris

Yeah. That would suck. Dont worry about it. I dont think it wouldve made a difference in the sentence error and it wouldve been obvious what the error was if there was one.

lol wait why would they cancel my score?

because of their hubris…i.e. they are so proud of their perfect tests that they might just get mad at you for pointing out the error and cancel your scores

im pretty sure thats what severed meant

for the math question with (x^3)*(x^m) = (x^3)^m, wouldn’t you just do 3m=3+m so m=3/2?

Yep! Thats what i put. Unless, I got it totally wrong. I swear if i get it wrong: Its not gonna be a pretty evening. Honestly, Ive gotten two wrong and left one blank and people told me it was like a 720… Im so scared to lose anymore pts.

yea it is 3/2

does anyone remember what “17 for question 17” the question was?

what were some questions on the experimental equating section 5 math ?

What was the answer to the question for the Motorcycle passage? The guy was commenting on how people in the countryside gave more information than you wanted when asking for directions. I think my answer was that the author shows that those people could not communicate clearly, or something like that. Does this sound right?

i think i put congeniality for that one or something… at this point i dont remember much.

Classof08: I think the problem you are referencing is the 7x^2 + cx + 6 problem, where you find any value of c. 17 was one possible answer (if you used 3 and 2).

wow 107 pages.

can anyone tell me what the answer was to the short double passage question that asked what the relationship between the two passages was?

i think it was E. about how the first was just about biographers and the second was a subset? i dont quite remember…

ye that’s what we agreed on, you’re correct

wow awesome. that was a pure guess. haha

so can anyone list any questions/answers for the squid problem?

3/2…100% positive

junglebum just look through the thread dude. It’s all there…haha i just want this thread to die. I have to stop thinking about my score

I’m amazed you guys still remember the answers from last Saturday.
I can’t even remember more than 5 or so answers from the Math section.

ah. 107 pages to read through. shoot i give up. i’ll just wait
