Official June 2nd SATI Thread

It’s lugubrious for that Sentence Completion.

I’m not sure if we ever reached a consensus about grammar - if there were 2-3 no errors, or 5+ no errors. Either way, I think I got the no errors wrong anyway, hopefully its 2-3, so I can minimize any loss in score lol.

i had no idea what lugubrious meant… i did the process of illimination and was down to 2… and lugubrius just sounded “gloomy” to me.

scores in 1.5 days

34 hoursssss

Wow…soooo nervous

I hope I broke 1400/2100 :(

i hope i broke 400/600

is there any possible way to get a negative score?

I’m so nervous that I did worse than my Oct SATs… So fricken nervous. I probably did too… well, there’s a waste of $70 (I did standby testing)

i just wanna break 2000 this time, it was my first.
my parents dont know that you can get the scores online first
so i have the option of knowing about it at least for a couple of days
before they get sent in the mail
i’ll probably tell my mom though

IM SOOO NERVOUS!!!
psalm 18:1-3 :)

lol, i feel everyone’s pain…all i want is 1500/2100

Aww, up until this point I thought lugubrious meant “talkative.” I wonder where I go that idea.

I’m also one of the inaccessable/thwarted people.

The wait is killing me. I see why it’s so infamous now.

^^^ you meen loquacious, i heard it was on a past SAT.

this may sound stupid… but what do you guys mean when you say you hope you broke 1400/2100, 400/600, 1500/2100, etc.?
where are these numbers coming from?
the SAT is out of 2400…

ahh, I’m so nervous, less than 28 hours left!!

Wow you’re right, loquacious IS the word I mixed up.

I think they’re comparing scores on the current SAT with scores on the past SAT? Yes, no, maybe so?

lerm- the first number indicated their score out of 1600 (just the math and critical reading sections, which is what colleges focus on heavily apparently), and the other number out of 2400 obviously includes the writing section as well.

yea lerm,

when i say 1400/2100

the 1400 refers to the combined math + verbal score (which college pay more attention to, out of 1600)

the 2100 refers to the total score out of 2400

ya i’m really nervous…i can’t believe that after all of the posting on this thread RIGHT after the test we will final get some closure

hoping for at least 1400/2100, but who isn’t?

i’m scared… i really hope -1 = 800 for math and -3 (or even more!) = 800 for critical reading!

i want to break 2200 on this, even though i’m retaking in october :P

i feel sick to my tummy and all i want is to break 2000.
gahhh!!

600+ math
700+ reading and writing
