<p>My D received her official rejection letter from UVA today, and included in the letter was a suggestion she apply as a transfer student next year? Did everyone who was rejected receive such a letter? It struck me as very odd that they would suggest a transfer after a year somewhere else. Do they really have that many open spaces after freshman year? My assumption would be their retention rate would be pretty high.</p>
