***OFFICIAL MARCH 2015 SAT (US ONLY)***

Wait what were the other choices for the question about the mother’s tone? (the one that everyone thinks is sarcastic)

There was a question about a guy who had a penchant for gossiping. Another question about a grave judge. Answers to these?

Discreet and jovial

@mrmaster198 The question DID say “A two digit integer, n, has exactly…”

@chx177 I don’t remember the answer choices, but those were different questions

For the passage about ads, was the answer something about using animals or a renowned author writing for clothing book?

@singeorgina Yeah, I heard the SAT in January was hard too. Supposedly, March and May are usually the easier ones… but IDK in this case.

@mrmaster198 Sorry but it did say that the two digit integer was n. I was thinking it could be a negative number but then I realized that the grid-in doesn’t even have a negative sign. Also, -12 has four positive factors: 1 (-12), 3 (-4), 4 (-3), 12 (-1).

I misread the polygon problem and ended up getting that wrong, it sucks how the time stress can cause simple mistakes…

Tone questions in CR always get me. ARGH.

@Tennistiger‌ was it a clothing book or fashion magazine?

@yesyesyes1‌ I put 0 because you can’t do 3/0. But then again, I was rushing through the problem

Does anyone know if march curves are sometimes more helpful because there are no seniors? Or does this usually make no difference?

@Saburo‌ aren’t curves predetermined?

For n, it has to be the square of a prime for it to have 3 factors so 81 is not right, fyi.

@Saburo
For previous years users complained that the curve was very harsh in March. All that means is that the College Board believes the test is easy
@SATsRuinLife‌
Yes that is what I heard because of that whole equating process

Hopefully writing curve is better than usual since the essay topic wasn’t easy

From what I understand, the fact that we have no seniors hurts us.

Hi everyone, so this was my first time taking an SAT… had a quick ?

if everyone makes a mistake on a question or messes up a section… does the collegeboard adjust the curve? Or make it more lenient?

What sucks about critical reading is that if you don’t get the main point or even the tone, you’re screwed for everything except vocab in context (for most part)

  1. frequency/inurned or ingrained/untenable
  2. Math- the 3 positive root
  3. penchant for gossiping (short paragraph)
  4. innovative science test or the new song for its fan
  5. animal ad or concert holding a campaign
  6. commanded or savored
  7. judge’s mein- joviality, reticence, savvy, etc.
  8. undercut his father’s deference or…
