***OFFICIAL MARCH 2015 SAT (US ONLY)***

Just got the same email and was wondering that too ahah

@Tmilli I’m on the opposite side of you and @Kat2016. 7/3 for parallel and 9/34 for complaints questions. The difference between a 51 and a 53 for me ugh xD

@Kat2016‌ im pretty sure it said 68 complaints in the year, since it was pretty early in the section and they wouldnt pull some wording trickery so soon. Plus @Baikster‌ u are right about the “with deference” but i still feel contrast is correct due to the direct relation it has with the lines i.e. going from a busy street into a temple is like going from saburos outside life into the presence of his father

I also had 7/3 I thought it said horizontal

@CEOSandeep‌ I think there were different experimental CR sections. I had something about 2 people finding a diary on a beach and about how it was carried by the ocean currents… And every normal “sat-type” question was followed by another question where it would ask something along the lines of “your answer to the previous question is most evident in the lines…” Other people have said they had different experimental CR sections though.

@khaos360‌ I think that the math question just said something like this:

“How many units far are the two lines at the intercept?” So I assumed it would be the vertical distance

@Kat2016‌ I had 34/68 for the complaints one(reduced to 1/2 obviously)

@SATsRuinLife I definitely remember now it saying something about horizontal because looking my graphing calculator it looks like I tried to draw a horizontal line at the x intercepts and find the distance between them. My calculator memory is like all I have to remember that question now. I was pretty sure I didn’t misread it so maybe we did get two completely different correct answers?

I had a writing section that was basically an essay, and we had to modify each sentence with a bold number next to it… It was quite difficult. Was this experimental?

I might be thinking of another question now, but I feel like the parallel lines one said something along the lines of a line being drawn at x=something and then it asked to find the distance between the points where the line would intersect the two parallel ones.

@aznboi4981 probably, that would seem like a ACT type questions for the new SAT

@aznboi4981 sounds like it

@Kat2016 I think it did say intersect too but then the distance it intersects can be anywhere from 7/3 at a horisontal line to 7 at a vertical line. According to my calculator memory, the two lines were y=3x -2 and y=3x+5

@khaos360‌ could there be any chance that college board gave us the same type of questions just with different numbers or something?

@SATsRuinLife That’s what I was saying earlier, maybe for some they asked find the distance between x intersections at x intercept and for others it asked for at the y intercept. Both would be true since 7/3 is the correct distance between x intercept and 7 is the correct distance between y intercept. People are like getting both

@SATsRuinLife It is ruining life for me so much right now xD

@khaos360‌ yeah it could be like that, but I clearly remember that for mine it didn’t say at the “y” or the “x” intercept…it just said at the intercept… So hopefully they will accept both of the answers.

@khaos360‌ hahah same…I don’t know how I am going to survive 18 days…

@SATsRuinLife‌ I sincerely hope they accept 7 as the answer. That would probably put me at a 51/52 raw score. I also dont recall it specifying which intercept.

@Tmilli‌ yeah me too… But I feel like we are never really gonna know if we actually got that one correct or not…
