***OFFICIAL MARCH 2015 SAT (US ONLY)***

@standardizedpest 2 wrong in math is probably 750. 3 wrong in writing is generally a 71 so most likely, if you know 100% that you got those wrong, then you probably won’t get past 2300. Sorry about that.

even if one of them was a grid-in???

jk i know i’m pushing it

@satanxietea‌ last year october

@satanxietea‌ i lied to you i added the section and the final total

it was only 1 wrong

@CEOSandeep – Well, my son took the SAT in Dec and then again yesterday. So the only basis I have is his comparison between the two tests. He felt that yesterday the CR was easier, that the Math was about the same, and that the Writing multiple choice was either the same or slightly easier compared to December’s test. He thought that the essay prompt was clearly more difficult. But that is just one kid’s (albeit a pretty reliable kid) assessment.
As best I understand it (after doing a ridiculously obsessive amount of reading and researching on this) there’s no way to assess the curve on the basis of which month the test is given. Put another way, there’s no predictive historical data to suggest that the March curve would be easier (because, for instance, it’s more juniors than seniors taking the test, number of kids taking the test, etc.) or harder.

The car one had to be p(0.9)^t it works for all years

The CR Section of the SAT is so flawed because people interpret passages differently.

Does anyone remember vilify or vilified “something” being an answer to a passage question?

Does anyone remember the answer choices for the question on saguro and “water passed right through him like a net”. I feel like I put he was not paying attention but I think I could have chosen another choice. I would really appreciate it if someone could remember.

@mrmaster198‌ idk abt the car one (i havent checked)

i was just compiling what others have written

So I’m going to be really annoying and ask approximately what might my scores be if I got: 1 grid-in and 1-2 multiple choice wrong in Math, 3-4 wrong in Critical Reading, and 1-2 wrong in Writing and an 8 essay with no questions omitted overall.

@sanman‌ was the answer you were considering having to do with “unable to comprehend because of abstract talk”?? i think i put that

im not sure about the exact answer but it did had the word abstract in it

btw i know this is annoying as well but can anyone say how they think the curve is going to be this test??

@satanxietea‌ i dont remember anything like that??? do you rmb the question

@sateven‌ average or bad curve… i definitely don’t think this was one of the harder tests

everything is speculation though

Honestly (I dont want to jinx myself I thought I got a 2150+ on Jan Sat. but bombed the crap out of that 2040) I have a feeling the curve for reading and math will be normal.
So a -5 on Reading will be a 760-750,-8 700-680.
For Math -1 780 and -2 760.
Writing I think there will be a generous curve, this test was much harder than the January one. Some people are saying its a little more difficult from the December one which had a nice curve.
I think the curve for writing will be -1 800, -2 790, -3 770, -4 750, -5 730, -6 710, -7 700.

@mrmaster‌ if only that happened… life would be much happier to me

im still trying to be skeptic with the curve and wait for some confident answers though lol

@sateven Not sure if that was the choice I picked. Do you remember any of the other choices? was there one about how he disrespects his father or was that a choice to something else?

@sanman‌ one of the choices for the question that you are thinking about was something like this: “indifferent to the conversation with his father”

@peuafz154 Changing relationship

How do y’all feel about that test?
I feel like I miss three or four questions more on both the writing and reading compare to the practice ones from blue book…
But it could have just been me that didn’t do so hot on it…
