And what is the answer to the “pleasing story”?
@sateven I remember that the second passage mentioned something along the lines of “only fools and mail ship captains went against the current…” imo if the captains went off course accidentally they would not be called “fools”.
@Dorfdude8 if you’re taking about saburo: http://www.missourireview.com/archives/bbarticle/rationing/
@slightwurkk do you remember some of the other questions in that section
It was also talking about velocity. One of the questions involved if the resistance was cut in half would the velocity increase based that the power would stay constant? Another one was d1-d2 and v1-v2 what would be i1-i2
It was very difficult i was forced to omit about 5 i was freaking out but i think it was the experimental because everyone i talked to said that they didn’t remember questions like that
Hey guys. Some of us are still arguing about the Saburo story, so here’s a link to the google book https://books.google.com/books?id=O7Iua-SB1JUC&pg=PA4&lpg=PA4&dq=saburo+and+father+passage&source=bl&ots=YuKpfKB-Hg&sig=hxAD6kJQstOEfe321KZB25CBJEs&hl=en&sa=X&ei=02kGVabFGcXeoAT7_IHQCw&ved=0CCYQ6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q=saburo%20and%20father%20passage&f=false
This thread makes me sad :(. I’m either going to have to retake in June, or take the ACT. What’s your prediction for…
-1 math (free response)
-3 writing with 11 essay
-8-12 reading?
with 0 omits in all sections?
@gettingdat2400 i think you misremembered the question…i think it was that the value deprecates by 10% of the preceding year’s value?
@satanxietea @FloridaBoy954
ughhh both of your arguments are really good…
i put difficult but worthwhile because it seemed like the author was deciding that czech or whatever his name is had the best theory and that the theory had a positive impact (it opened a new realm? it clarified the field? idk i feel like there was a question about that too)
but now that i think of it the author’s whole critical statement with the whole “maintain” thing and that is really throwing me off.
omgsh. useful but divisive makes sense too. cause the concluding paragraph sounded like the author thought the dude’s theory had a postive impact. w/e im so done
this literally makes me so mad lol. the cr questions can really be interpreted in multiple ways…like as much as the essay
@satanxietea i definitely agree with you; i think the contingency one was detail. there was a sentence in the first passage about how stretching a story might be thought of as bad but isn’t because the more detail the clearer the picture or something like that
Can someone PLEASE tell me the right answers for the questions below?
Reading
-sentence completion
- the last question (#5?) for the sentence completion, which was about the judges who at first seemed blahblah but with familiarity something under their faces could be seen..??
- some girl's stance on the government got lessened ; she was ____ but is now grudgingly accepting.

How many no errors were there?
-
much of the most ?
many of the more? -

@peuafz154 deference means respect, and u show respect when entering a temple which is my opinion
Can anyone guess what the curves for each section will be?
To make some people stressing over the test, i skipped while halfway in the Ben Franklin Section because i thought it was my experimental X_X
Probably…
CR: -0 800 -1 800 -2 790 -3 770 -4 750 -5 730 -6 720 -7 710 -8 700…
M: -0 800 -1 770 -2 740 -3 710 -4 690…
W: -0 800 -1 800 -2 790 -3 760 -4 730 -5 710
@Baikster but the choice was " undercut deference" which means " undermine respect"
math curves have been ridiculously harsh lately.
