This test was used 5 years ago in March International. Here are some correct answers: 7/3 , 6 for the circle, reticence, past and present, futile, rock band, personification.
I disagree. Actually “therefore” IS used to connect two independent clauses in formal English, while in this case, “and” indicates the last half sentence is a dependent clause. As we know, SAT always prefers the formal usage. Check this out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conjunctive_adverb
@xxjmodxx Do you mean it is the 6th circle that hits 8? That cannot possibly be right. I bet my head on that.
@xxjmodxx There is absolutely no way, it is six. It had to be 5, and the distance between the two points was 7. It said vertical, not horizontal. And, the answer was not reticent either, it was jovial. The judge appeared grave and serious but was actually jovial. Reticent or reserved would not make any sense. I think that information is incorrect.
I am almost completely sure it said horizontal. More people seem to have said 7/3, but it’s suspicious how much disagreement there is over it. Does the SAT ever have slightly different questions for different people?
It also only had 4 errors
@xxjmodxx can you tell us where you’re getting this info from?
HOW MANY NO ERRORS AND WHICH ONES
The guy is clearly a troll, calm down guys.
What did everyone get for the question about the diameters of the inner circle and outer circle being 18 and something else idr???
@kmackyy The answer was 48. The inner diameter was 6 and the outer diameter was 18 so the pegs sticking out (each set of 2) equals 12. There were 8 pegs total making 4 sets of 2 which is 4*12=48. Sorry don’t have a diagram to explain it on.
Thank you so much im pretty sure thats what i got yay!
Sat veterans, Will the math curve be harsher since the math was in the less difficult side?
@kmackyy Honestly don’t expect anything generous. I think -1 is probably still going to be around a 770, probably similar to October curve. Hopefully nothing ridiculous like the November SAT curve. But sometimes honestly what we think doesn’t matter. People thought the October CR was easy and Math was hard but the curve was hard for math and I would say decent for CR.
did anyone get 13/16 for the last problem on one of the math sections?
@SATsRuinLife what was the “contrast” choice specifically?
@WoodyD40 Yes, that is what I chose, but most people say it is no error. Erica’s grammar book says that there should be a semicolon before however, but it does not mention this case.
I disagree. Actually “therefore” IS used to connect two independent clauses in formal English, while in this case, “and” indicates the last half sentence is a dependent clause. As we know (I assume), SAT always prefers the formal usage. Check this out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conjunctive_adverb
wait was that math question 7 or 7/3?
Question about Franklin’s observations were they inexperienced (0x), Inadequate (1x), unprocessed (0x) or another answer choice
