OFFICIAL MATH IIc Discussion Thread [October]

It was II and III for sure. tellallyourfriends read the question wrong.

i put i and 2

i put i and 2

an example of y is a function of x is y=x^2

so it can be y=1/2 for all the x values i.e. (3, 1/2) (2, 1/2) (1/2, 1/2) and it would work

but if it’s (3, 1/2), (2, 4), (1, 7), (3, -3), then you would have 2 points touching the line x=3, meaning it wouldn’t pass the vertical line test

edit: whew thank you dictator tellallyourfriends had me scared for a second lol

it was like -.5 for the last column right? So if the function was like y=x/-2x then it works.

it was either 0.5 or -0.5 but either way II and III were right

oh and the #48 where they asked for the average speed for the 20km one was 53 1/3 right?

can we get some actual questions going? what are you pussies afraid of ? its not like anyone can find out who you are from the internet

um banana girl i think we are

maybe you would like to contribute?

i got 53 1/3 also.

anyone got the polar one?

anyone remember that pqr or whatever divided by the smallest pqr cube…prime numbers…???

Yes on the average speed one.

The answer to the box(number) was A, box(1), correct?

oh god that pqr one was scary

i got B, p^3q^6r^9

polar like i mentioned was 3pi/2 because one was on 0,0, one was on the positie y axis (pi/2), one was in the 4th quadrant (7pi/4 OR -pi/4) but none was on the negative y axis, so it was 3pi/2

edit: #50 was D, 0.924

and yes, the box one was A, 1

Is It Allowed To Discuss Test Questions?

everyone that will take this test already took it, soooo

Maybe I’m dumb, but am I the only one who had trouble with #20? It was the one that asked about translating a circle. I think it was 5 units to the right, 2 units down for the graph (x-3)^2 + (y+1)^2 = 25.

dk for the first one i took the inverse sin of that number, multiplied it by 4, and took the sin of the 4 x number.

omg stop being stupid and ****ing people off!

You are not to discuss test questions ever, I believe, as they often do reuse test questions.

Those who took the USAP test last year and then the May US History Subject Test should know this.

banana girl if you have nothing to contribute, don’t reply

thanks :)

20 was it just x-8 and y-1 if you translated it? or was that too easy to be true (D, i think)

blah i hope it wasn’t a trick question

none of the June questions were used in the October test

I chose D, but in my booklet, the answer for D was x-8 y+3, but none of the other answers were x-8 y-1; they were either x-8 or y-1. Another kid at my testing center said he had the same problem.
