Yeah… I think they get till this coming wednesday to cancel.

whats protean mean? i put that for a sentence completion one about the actress?

Yeah, I put that too. It means diverse.

I took it yesterday, but mostly for practice (I’m a Sophomore & this was my first time excluding back in 7th grade. I wanted to get a feel for the types of problems so I wouldn’t be in a rush to prepare Junior Year).

I thought the reading was pretty easy (My worst part was probably sentence completion), & if I made mistakes-It was probably a “dumb mistake”. I thought math was okay too, except for one that needed a formula from Alg 1, which I took 3 years ago-So at least I know to have my formulas downpat. The biggest problem for me was the essay, I thought it was unusually difficult considering what friends have gotten for their essays on previous SATs. I managed to get 4 out of 5 paragraphs written, but only started the first sentence on the last one… So hopefully they won’t take off too much for that. At least this wasn’t my final one though, I’m ready to get scores back now! :P

Edit: I know this is an odd question, but for those who had the cheetah SAT: Do you remember getting for some answer “docile”? I don’t remember the question or even what part it was, but I remember being caught between “docile” & a similar word… The math one I had trouble on was the maximum length of the 3rd side of a triangle, I figured around what it would probably be, but I totally forgot the formula to solve it having 2 sides & no angle measurements…

did anyone get these math grid answers in this order
2, 15, 30, 2000, 47.5, 5, 3, 2.5, .75, 10
I had the test that had entomology as one of the vocab answers for study of insects.

I think for the most part I got those, I don’t remember them all-but I know FOR SURE I got the 2, 2000 & 47.5 (in the order you did, I mean). I can’t remember the rest though.

Did you have another grid in? Because these were the answers most of us agreed on:
- 15
- 4
- 1/6
- .66 - .9
- 115
- 18
- 9
- 1600
- 3/4
- 10

docile and taciturn… it was docile

wasn’t the veemer’s painting guy like forlorn?

for the last time, it was penetrating

I put that it was penetrating not forlorn.

And ‘docile’ was the answer for that one.

wait…number one on my grid was definitely 1. Im sure of it…i may have had some different grids

for the sent. comp. one about the painter (picasso maybe) where it said about his youth, was he “articulate” in his youth? that’s what i put but didnt know fo sho

eh…it’s precocious. I’m 100% sure on that one.

1 or 2 worked for that one because it’s 1/(2x) > 1/5

Also, the picasso one is precocious :)

damn picasso…oh well…yeah 2 works, but not 15…

man i cant belive i missed penetrating… i am starting to believe i did bad on this test… Oh and i never had the nitrogen plant question on my test… and i only had 2 writing sections… can they do that?

Yeah, I made some careless mistakes too…Some guy said that if you miss one or two, then you can still get an 800 on the math and verbal.

prays To God That I Receive At Least A 1410!

Yeah, the music one was 51. My reasoning:

There were four notes on the diagram and the third note was the one the musician would stop on. If you make a pattern, you’ll see the following:

He must stop on 3, or 7, or 11, etc., or more accurately, a number of the form 4k-1 where k is some number. 51 was the only choice that satisfied this condition.

or ya know…a number that divides evenly by 3…
