**OFFICIAL Mt SAC CC TRANSFER THREAD**

Well for the class that conflicts i was put on the waitlist.

@ vtlord: Oh I see. Yeah, you can register for the waitlist if it conflicts but you won’t be able to register if you move up on the waiting list. When and where are you planning to transfer? I’d say get ENG 1C out of the way first. IGETC > Major prereqs. If you move up on the waitlist and get to enroll, you should probably take 1C first. ENG1C is in higher demand than Math 180 so Math 180 shouldn’t be too hard to get next semester.

im going to be applying for universities next fall and transferring fall of 2015. my plan right now is im going to try my chances and see if i can get a class without regsitering before hand. another thing is that the professor has the same class at the same time but on a Tuesday instead of Monday and maybe he can switch me with the other class?

@iDizzle: Wow, and I plan on only doing two years until I transfer. I work part-time, which are weekends (+24hrs a week) and do seasonal, I also have three night classes aside from my other classes that run from Monday to Thursday.
Well, I do have my eyes toward Cal Poly Pomona, I like their Environmental Design Dept. and is also pretty close to Mt. SAC + the area too. Although I have considered Sci-Arc + USC, I kind of felt that they were more like recommendations for a grad school. I took a Summer Exploratory Program this summer and have my eyes unto another grad school in San Diego which is on a par, at least to my experience and opinion, to Sci-Arc + USC.

However, I will definitely re-consider looking more into Sci-Arc. I had a friend enter their “Making+Meaning” summer course and strongly recommended it to me when I chose and went to the NSAD exploratory instead.
Once again, thanks a lot!

Er. Question. I just applied to be a student. XD Any chance I’d make it into any classes.

And do I still have to take a placement test if I graduated already? I’m just taking some pre-req classes that I missed. :O

Does anyone think that engineers need to take english 1c? it seems mmost of the colleges i want to transfer to dont require english 1c. im seriously thinking of dropiing my enlish 1c class

Hi. I took my math placement test today for math 180. But instead I got placed into math 140 for business calculus. If I take 140, will I be able to take 180 after? My major is computer engineering.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone of you could tell me when my registration is. Im a high school senior graduating in may & I plan on coming to Mt. Sac for fall semester. The problem is I’ve been told many different dates for the registration, one in february & I wanted to know if anyone of you could tell me when freshman registration is? I haven’t had a chance to speak with a counselor lately & time is of the essence.

Dear MTSAC friends:
Have you ever studied 2 courses in a summer intersession? I plan to take 2 courses: Chem 50-professor Robert Entus and Math 110- Professor Humaciu this summer 2015 and want to get all As. However, I wonder about the study load for each course? How many hours do I need to study outside class for Math 110? I got As for Calculus Math 180 and Physics 2AG. Thanks for your help!
