<p>Just got mine today from my principal. 213 was the lowest semi at my school in Ohio.</p>

<p>Just heard that 217 is the cutoff in CA. Dropped two points from last year, because of the Writing.</p>

<p>Looks like OH dropped at least 2 points. That’s in keeping with the 3 point decline in commended cutoff from last year to this year. Keep in mind mileage may vary. Good luck to all.</p>

<p>Just to clarify, this is the 2008 competition. Should perhaps the title be changed to that?</p>

<p>I think it’s pretty obvious what year is relevant but if clarification is needed:</p>

<p>This thread pertains to the psat administered in 2006, for which semifinalist notifications are made in 2007 and finalist/scholarship notifications are made in 2008.</p>

<p>yeesh, ohio is low this year. but then again, it kind of always has. </p>

<p>I think only three people in my class got semi. There’s me and another kid at 224 and 225 and another girl at something lower than that.</p>
