<p>@BunsenBurner The word “official” makes it all encompassing. You can discuss anything. For the other thread, you can answer “Yes, I am” or “No, I am not” and keep it moving.</p>

I figured I would create something so people know this is explicitly for all football talk for this season. Not just for talking about whether or not you are ready</p>

<p>The other thread is fine. It started right off with football. This one’s already bogged down on semantics. </p>
<p>agree, other thread has quite a few posts and seems to be doing the job and not confusing anyone. I saw no posts that said “yes I am ready” and I don’t think any fans will miss it </p>
<p>Any real NFL fan would recognize the tag-line. You know back when Monday Night Football was a real thing and not buried on ESPN.</p>

<p>Another fun fact, if you google “Are you Ready for Some football”-- it has clearly become commonly accepted as part of the venacular for the start of the NFL season</p>
