Not getting them today just means that we’re certainly getting them tomorrow. I can wait one more day

I read - and more recently heard the current President mention - that NU was invited to join the Ivy League (which is an athletic conference designation) in the 80s but declined, as they preferred to retain their Big 10 designation. @CupertinoRaider YES, my son is considering USC and Northwestern along with Berkeley, UCLA, Duke and others. My daughter is applying pre-med Neuroscience at all of them. Both NU and USC have outstanding engineering programs and would be an honor to be admitted. Location is the main difference both for weather and job prospects in Silicon Valley. I think NU is ranked slightly higher than USC in most engineering degrees, but not by much. Are you in the same situation?
