Guys, relax, chances are they will probably come out today because its the third week of March. Trust me, you’re all going to be fine. Just relax, I’m sure you’re all going to end up where you belong!
I’m in no way “worshipping the ground the admissions officers walk on.” I’m giving them the decency and respect that they deserve, because I’m sure they’re hardworking individuals who are experiencing the busiest time of their year.
It’s weird that people on this thread seem to obsess over when the decisions are gonna come out and how unreasonable the AOs are, and not about their actual admission decisions.
@CaliCash Welcome to the real world: do not expect everyone treat you “nicely” with respect. Respect has to be earned but not by money. Application fees went to the university and admissions staff don’t get any.
@CaliCash thats a pretty entitled view point. They probably dont give a specific date so they can release them when they’re all finished and not have to estimate or change their date. Yeah i would prefer it that way anyways too but we’re paying for their consideration of our applications, not so they can answer every question we have with a please and thank you. and dont get mad at the admissions people for rules and procedures that probably come from higher up the chain.

@CaliCash you called and got a response like you wanted. Please move on now. It’s pretty inappropriate to call admissions unless you have a problem with something. Yes they were rude, but you were rude in a way to call.

Everyone is becoming so bitter. Decisions will come out soon (today, in my opinion), so just take a deep breath and relax. We’ll all see our results soon. 
Is there really a point with all the condescension? Can’t we just go back to normal impatience/freaking out? Northwestern is the top choice for many of us, including myself, so can’t we keep it at least somewhat positive?

Having perused the RD threads for WUSTL and Northwestern on the days leading up to the release of their respective decisions, I can only imagine what the Ivy RD threads will be like leading up to the 31st…
well for ivy we know specific dates, for this we dont
