My daughter was rejected and she is taking it well. She is excited to go to UNC-Chaoel Hill (EA).
@virago1 My theory is that colleges accept those who are most likely to attend (fits the school, not likely to attend elsewhere) to keep their acceptance rates low.

Son was rejected. Admitted to UF and Miami, waitlisted at MIT and Vandy. Northwestern is the furst rejection. Stings a little.
Rejected. With a 34 ACT and 4.0. While a girl in my grade gets in with a 31 and 3.7. Whatever Notre Dame here I come!
