@Suspects saint francis! @toothpasteonface They definitely do, at least more of a holistic review than most colleges…
@etsy98 I also applied bienen and weinberg dual degree~!
just curious, is nu relatively popular for applicants on the west coast? because ive heard of a lot of californians applying, but very few nj/nyc/ct people such as myself. (idk this is just based on my personal experience so far).
.
@asdf1356 Yeah I think it’s very popular especially among california applicants
All those poor Californians coming to Evanston to freeze in the winter…
@TheMagicMarker I know! I’m over here complaining about 50 degree weather, meanwhile my college friends in Illinois…
@TheMagicMarker haha i used to think nyc was so cold until i went to chicago. since then, anything 40F+ is shorts weather.
@asdf1356 True I mean northeasterners generally don’t want to go to the mid west…
@TheMagicMarker haha when I visited, everyone gave me a strange look when I said i’m from California and asked why I would want to leave the great weather
We’re definitely in for a shock haha
@piyrwadgjl yeah i’ve noticed that; a lot of people up here have their sights set on princeton, yale, brown, columbia, you get the idea. the midwest is kinda underrated here imo. but i guess thats less regional competition haha.
Anyone studying for finals still? I was hoping that the decision would be out last friday so i don’t have to study but oh well
My finals are in January hahaha
It’s a good and bad thing I guess though. Winter break is always spent studying
@FlowerChild3525 no i completely understand what you mean. i felt the same way, but i didnt feel like nu was like that which was pretty cool.
people in cali seemed so much more laid back though lol

@FlowerChild3525 The top three are definitely too much I would say. Others are somewhat easier to handle. It’s just part of the New England vibe…
@asdf1345 NU is super intense tbh (work hard play hard). It’s intense without the same degree of competitiveness.
I’ve become so desperate that I actually downloaded a magic 8-ball app and asked if I will get in to NU…
