LIsten, if you get in great.
If you don’t…well you have options. Do you know how many students out there who would die at the chance to apply to NW if it weren’t for the location or cost? So remember as you contemplate what you’ll do if you don’t get in. You’ll be sad, upset, cry even, then you’ll get mad and upset, blame even, then you’ll realize it’s not everything. There is a school out there for all of us. You’ll read on other thread’s how the “it” school is so important. Guys remember these schools are lucky to have “us”. The next generation of amazing students.
So go study for your exams, go hang out with friends. If this is stressful wait till we have to hold down 3 jobs to pay for school all the while studying for exams and write papers oh and go to football games and …well you get it
Yes I agree it’s stressful but it’s also an introduction to being an adult.

I applied RD so while you all are waiting on December…I will have to wait for 2017 and beyond!

I just notice there are like more than 50 people in my school district(3 schools) are applying Northwestern this year. OMG, this is crazy

I talked to financial aid this week, they said an acceptance letter will include any aid that you qualify for.
So you think decisions for sure won’t come out until the 15th since they’re reviewing aid profiles also?
Any chance they come out this friday, because if i remember correctly the last time the 9th was on a friday, they released it then?
I honestly don’t think they’ll come out until probably the afternoon of the 14th
lol i doubt it cuz they got a lot more ED applicants this year
I know everyone here is just dying to know the results and are nervous, excited, etc. (so am i) but just take a deep breath and calm down. Time is ticking by even at this moment and you’ll get your results literally next week. There’s really no point in asking which school is easier to get into or if stats are more important than extracurriculars, etc because they probably already have most of our results which won’t be changed by us worrying last minute about the results. Stop stressing out. Seriously. This is not the end of the world.

Hey so I thought I would share, went to the tour this past summer and the tour guide asked how many of us were from the Chicago area, not one hand! How many from IL and three people raised their hands! Most were from the Northeast and we had filled the room. Might have just been the day we chose to do the tour but I thought that was crazy!
Hey and it’s ok to be stressed. Anything that’s worth anything is worth working for! We all worked hard…soon we’ll all be sharing where we end up! =))
