There are no more rejection videos I can watch from YouTube
lol the things this wait is doing to me… I had a dream last night where I was about to find out if I got accepted, and just before I opened the email I woke up. The 15th can’t come soon enough.
@Littlebitanxious retweet
A lot of my friends applying ED to other schools have received emails from the school telling them the date ED decision will come out. Any chance northwestern would do that? Maybe someone could call? haha
@h8highschool lol same at ur username
anyway, northwestern’s website says that they’ll release decisions on the 15th of dec.
Did anyone here apply ED for theatre?
@wgdeann I did!
@BornToBeMild did you do their summer program?
@wgdeann no unfortunately, did you?
@BornToBeMild me neither! I am really scared that they care about that!!!
@wgdeann oh man same! Ahh this is so nerve wracking!! Good luck to you anyway
@BornToBeMild Same to you! Do you know if theatre is more or less competitive ED?
@wgdeann I’ve heard about it being more competitive in general because there’s a cap, but I’m not sure if ED has an effect on it or not
I didn’t apply for theater but I did apply to comm!! anyway here’s a fairly useless anecdote lol: I have a friend from my HS who’s a freshman at Medill now, and I asked her about her stats. She had a 4.28 weighted GPA, 2020 SAT and she applied ED. She says she thinks her extracurricular experience got her in rather than her numbers, so take that as you will!!
i think medill weighs ECs more than schools like weinberg… but if not, thats great news:)
@w17mywoes Do you know if McCormick values ECs or scores more?
@Vlau0707
McCormick is an engineering school so probably scores more but NU claims to evaluate all applicants separately from their major so what I think they do is have a general criteria to a admit applicants, then more specific for each major.
I want the results NOW.
Me!
Next year this time class of 2022 probably is reading this thread and laughing at us
