Good night every one. This is a long wait. We are nervous, excited, and even wish to start high school life all over again to get a perfect stats. We turn more emotional than usual; sometimes tears just creep down our faces when we are thinking not being able to attend NU next year, and sometimes we laugh like an idiot when we image how happy we are going to be on next year at NU if we get accepted. BUT there is at least something we can do, go to study for finals, get all As on your AP classes. Just in case if we get deferred, a good mid year report is needed!
Did you guys get a FB notification from NU? It says “Join the Northwestern community to see what’s happening around campus.”

any international students apply ED?
@w17mywoes my friend who applied ED to UPenn was telling me that someone on his thread was talking about how the same thing happened to him, but for Berkeley, and he hasn’t applied there yet. I think it is just facebook tracking your searches and likes, and according to what you have searched, they advertise certain pages. It happens to me with the New York Times, Buzzfeed, and a bunch of other pages too.
@Dhe123 I’m honestly not sure. I have a US passport but I’m Indian and I’ve lived in Mumbai for 15 years. I’ve asked several college reps if I’d be classified as an international student and they always say it depends on the university. So maybe?

Does the portal thing work? Is it allowed? I tried to reset my password because I’ve never been on it before
@nohrdragon for now if you log in all it says is “Application Status for ________
If you need to contact us regarding your application, provide your name and this reference number: ______,” but we should be able to access our results as soon as they’re up instead of waiting for the email which will probably come anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours later.
