the american college system is so abusive; it unfairly rewards students who work hard for three-four years with anxiety and stress because even if they meet all requirements and did everything they possibly could, there’s a chance of rejection due to factors out of one’s hands 
i wish there was a better alternative

Class of 2017 - 2012: 12/13 5:00pm EST (Thursday)
Class of 2016 - 2011: 12/09 6:00pm EST (Friday)
Class of 2015 - 2010: not sure but at least before 12/11 8 am (Saturday)

I went to my college guidance counselor and freaked out a little today, and she said that she thinks the results will be released Wednesday (12/14). I don’t know how true that is or how reliable her insight would be, but she did used to work at UChicago admissions and she got her graduate degree from Northwestern, so I’m hoping she knows something the rest of us don’t lol…though it’s highly possible she was just theorizing.
I think it’s most likely that the decisions will be coming on Thursday. I just don’t see NU breaking from the pattern.

Strengths:

Weaknesses:
-Testscores
-didn’t submit subject test scores because they were pitiful
I think at this point we are all viable candidates but it’s a matter of space. We all deserve it but now we must leave it up to luck.
So I guess it’s not today then???

Honestly chance me is stupid. Nothing against the people who ask to be chanced and I totally get that people are scared and worried about whether they will get in or not, but a bunch of other teens online have no say in your admissions decision. It is up to the admissions counselor to make the call. Like am I the only one who thinks that?
