It seems like northwestern likes to release them at the beginning or end of weeks, so Thursday afternoon appears to be the release time.

@Ariz0na you can make a portal at https://ugadmission.northwestern.edu/account/login by hitting forgot password if you want but otherwise NU will send out an email with portal information when they tell you results have been posted

Anyone else tweaking right now? I’ve seen people find out about Notre Dame and WashU, while I’m here twiddling my thumbs and praying…
Columbia just released their decisions as well… this waiting is killing me
@Ariz0na I believe NU emails you info to make your portal so that you can access your decision on the portal, not directly through email. either way you’ll have to make the portal at some point so some people have already done it

I wish they would at least give us a time, I know duke emailed its ed applicants telling them what day and time they would be released

I asked the NU admissions department if they would be sending out an email telling us the exact date and time decisions will be coming out. They said that they would not be doing that but that we would hear this week:(

I got an automatic reply saying they are receiving a high volume of emails so their response may be delayed :’)

@Chicagodreams9 Absolutely, just finished my first quarter of it and I’m super excited by it! It’s a program that combines mathematics and statistical analysis with the traditional social sciences (think economics, psychology, sociology…I think we have an English Lit major in the class of 2019!) It’s a separate application from Northwestern itself, so definitely take a look once you’ve been admitted. The classes are rigorous and you’re going to have a lower GPA than the rest of the econ major crowd, but you’re learning so much more mathematically that it just can’t compare. I’m an econ major as well, and I think it’s the best program possible for combining mathematics with economic study.
