@malvernvarna I happened to meet a Northwestern student who was in ISP and he told me that even though they don’t say this officially, most people who apply to the program will get in, and that they actually keep on accepting applications all the way until the school year starts. If you really want to be in the program, you’ll still be able to apply even after you get into Northwestern in March. So it might not be too late to take a subject test.

@y90y90 Thanks for the info!

Does anyone know the word count for the ISP questions?

RD applicant here and got the email encouraging applying to ISP. The program director says they are flexible on the testing requirement. It sound like they will consider AP scores, grades, and of course the dreaded SAT II subject tests.

I just had my alumni interview today, but I remember that the interview ddl is actually 2.1…http://admissions.northwestern.edu/apply/admission-interviews.html not sure whether the interview would help, but it was really a great time talking to an alum

Is a 30 act wayyy too low for northwestern?

@anaheim I received the CLAVE email today, did you?

are there are sort of emails one can get that implies that they’re in?

@allima not sure what you mean. Either you apply ED and you got in or you are RD and you’ll find out soon. Nothing gray about NW.

@allima what kind of emails are you referring to??

@mdclassof2017 u must be a latino student… wht i saw from website this is for latino students. Correct me if i m wrong

@USUG21 Black, but it’s for both latinos and blacks! :slight_smile:

@mdclassof2017 i received it in the month of january!

When are we expecting decisions to be released?

Late March according to the UG admissions web site. Financial awards the following week if FASFA and CSS profile were sent.

I was looking into Northwestern for 2018 (I’m a junior), for Bienen school of music though! I know Bienen has slightly lower standards than the other colleges academically, but would a 3.55 UGPA (still ranks top 7% of class!) combined with a 34 ACT/1520 SAT cut it? Of course as a music major I have lots of good music ECs and leadership positions… Thanks!

From Dallas, Texas. Haven’t received interview yet. Should I be worried?

OMG…what in the heck are you doing here? @TheShortSon O:-) =)) …are you stalking me?
