@thenewstyped theoretically.
ok guys, I need you to overanalyze this with me. I am an HPME applicant and when I entered in my username and password for the medical school login into the actual northwestern link someone posted about (HPME gave us a separate portal through which to fill out our bs/md app–you can’t view admissions results on it or anything btw), it took me to a page where I was supposed to enter in a temporary pin or something? What does this meeeeeaaaan
I am a regular applicant and i got the pin/birthday page as well
Is it possible that the admission office will just notify us through email?
Will it definitely come out this weekend though?
@voltthorn most likely tomorrow according to what everyone is saying. I hope it’s soon. I’ve been obsessively checking my email waiting for the decision
Please note - if you access the portal link posted prior to receipt of the email notifying you of an update, you will not receive the email notification. We encourage applicants to wait until they receive the email from Northwestern for this reason. The email notification will be sent to the email address used on your application for admission. Decisions will be available later this week or early next week.
@NUStaff : thank you for an update! Very helpful in these stressful times!
@NUStaff I already created a portal. So I can only check online now?
@NUStaff If we already checked the portal a few months ago and changed our passwords will we not get an email?
If you have accessed the portal, you will not receive notification that there is an update. If you have set up an account, you will not be able to view your decision information any earlier than applicants who have not set up an account.
Will we still be able to see the decision, we just won’t get an email on when it’s updated, but will we still be able to check the portal on our own and see a decision? @NUStaff
Yeah alright so it sounds like those of us who have already created a portal login have to pay attention to this thread to know when to check it.
Yes - you can check the portal for a decision if you have set it up…but you wont get the email notification.
What are you guys thinking, tomorrow??
@NUStaff Will the decisions be released tomorrow?
waitlisted from washu, not expecting an acceptance from Northwestern now
Rejected from WashU - feeling the same way @Harryp17
Do you guys think a 33 makes me competitive at Northwestern?
It’s holistic, they look at more than just your ACT score but a 33 is in the range. @treander1
