just watched “college rejection reaction” and “how to deal with college rejection” those videos for hours. After compare my stats with other NU applicants, and even the applicants from my safeties , I feel I am dying now. I think I should pray to Darwin, Newton, and Einstein every night before sleep now. (It worked for my ACT)
At this point, I’m honestly expecting a rejection…deferral if they were generous. Really need to get my other supplements done now.
@Zpower99 please dont be so stressed out. everything will be fine in the end no matter what bro
Does anyone know how NU will notify us? i.e. straight up in an email v. giving us an account to log into to view admission decision online, etc. I really hope they don’t give it away in the subject line of an email (happened to my brother for Berkeley), I want to be prepared lol.
@qwertyem564 last year they sent out an email that linked to a portal where you could login and see the decision
Hey guys! I’m applying RD. I visited Northwestern last March and absolutely LOVED it. It’s definitely top 3 on my list. What drew you ED applicants to the school?
Best of luck guys!!!
@gmanhax my low stats
@gmanhax It was a toss up between NU and WUSTL for my ED choice…however I ended up deciding to apply ED to Northwestern simply because of its larger offerings of engineering majors.
Are you guys submitting your senior year grades?
@h8highschool Don’t we have to?
@h8highschool I turned in my first quarter report card
So my subject test results came out… 790 in math level 2 but 700 in physics :(( But NU was areach anyhow so i atleast wont be dissapointed out of my wits when im not accepted in 15 day’s time.
wait where does it say we have to submit senior year grades
@jaecha It’s not required for ED applicants to submit first semester grades.
What was your act? Also, NU places a bigger emphasize on scores and such so if that is you strong part, like me, then you will still have a competitive chance.
NU doesn’t require first quarter senior grades, right? and if they did, is it too late to send it now?
I got an email Nov15 saying my application is complete and under review. Hopefully that means everything is fine.
@whatsamania What is considered a competitive score on the ACT?
@vlau007 a competitive score for northwestern is probably a 33
preferably a 34+ tho
@whatsamania Unfortunately my act score is not good as other NU applicants, I choose ed is that I hope this can even out my weak act score a little. This is why I answered “my low stats” when someone asked" what made you apply ed".
Me too @Zpower99 what’s your score??
