Also, for real, thanks to everyone on this thread for being so inclusive and kind to one another. Honestly, the biggest thing attracting me to Notre Dame from the very start was the incredible community and faith that ND students foster, and that quality really shines through on this thread. I have (reluctantly) started looking for a roommate at my state school and keep thinking to myself that if I were going to ND, I’d probably feel comfortable going completely random because everyone is so great!! Absolutely best of luck to every one of you! Let’s cross out fingers for tonight!

Notre Dame isn’t going to come out today, it’s going to be later in the week. We keep having all these false hopes. Everyone relax and enjoy the time now before our rejections.

No one has any idea today is for sure the day. All speculation based on prior year trends. Safe to say it’s this week, but no promise it’s today … I hate this …
Do you guys think ND Admissions would have posted something if decisions are going to be released today?
@blue221 Typically colleges will tell you a few days before what day and time they are releasing their decisions. Stop believing all these people that come on the forums with relatives that are on the admissions board.
@reformedman Not all colleges. Northwestern sent them out without telling anyone the date or time. Someone even called their admissions office a couple of hours before they released decisions and was told that their decision would be released “between now and the end of March”. From what I’ve heard, Notre Dame only sends out the portal about a week before releasing decisions but never sets a specific date or time, so there is a possibility that we will be notified in a couple of hours.
There was NO date announcement for EA. Just a portal email 5 days ahead, then a lot of speculation, then they were out. But, it’s seriously stressful when we thought it might be Thursday, then Friday, then MAYBE Saturday. I’m praying the speculation comes to an end today.
