***Official Nov 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

@FailedHardAsian Dont worry in the second column of the answer sheet for the writing section I did get a lot of C’s
Btw, if u could possibly remember, how many no error’s did you get, I got 6 but I feel that is too excessive for an SAT test.

What did you guys get for the vocab one about the artists work. Was it like derivative, reactionary

@jlev I don’t remember the first word but the choice with ____… avante garde made the most sense to me

What you said made sense to me at first but in context, a “derivative” style did not as accurately describe what the writer was trying to say.

@AwesomeGuy yesterday general consensus seemed to be four no errors - the “being” one with the ostrich, the one that talked about vegetarians, the one involving elephants, and the last one I don’t remember.

@AwesomGuy i GOT LIKE 4 NO ERRORS OR 5.
and for the paragraph improvement, for the second last question. something like " that being the case… surged recently." the options are, 1. leave as it is 2. add only and some others i could not remember… But I chose leave as it is

@jlev96 i think conservative…avant-garde was the right answer.

@t3rryd4ctyl yep I got the same thing for that vocab question
Also for the pencil passage was one of the answers superficiality of the writing process?

@t3rryd4ctyl‌ Haha me too. Im very strong in math but will get -2. I was hoping for a 2250 but id be happy with above 2000. First time also lol

@awesomguy I’m not sure- do you remember the question? If you are referring to the “pencil is the dirty secret” or whatever, the general consensus is that the answer was “messiness of the creative process.”

@2400boii‌ You and be both haha, let’s just hope for the best

@t3rryd4ctyl Lol well i think I got that wrong
I prolly got this question wrong too, did u guys put that the author DIDNT use sarcasm?

@awesomguy ding ding ding you are ON THE MONEY

@synack well I probably missed two on that section then if everyone only got 4 errors haha
For the digitizing maps questions, was the answer for that A?

This is unrelated, but I made up examples from Lord of the Flies on my essay and only included two body paragraphs but I filled up the whole two pages (4 paragraphs total)-- do you think I’ll be okay? My other body paragraph had a legit example from “crowd at the ballgame” but I’m worried that only using lit examples will count against me

Sorry for the plethora of questions or If i seem annoying but I just need some answers to my questions
For the punctuation passage, for the first question did author of passage 1 one think that punctuation was rigid or no?

What was the vocab question with avant garde as an option?

And for the second question for that passage did both authors agree that the punctuation system wasnt static?
Wait then my first answer is wrong then I think Idk to be honest

Yes punctuation is not static.

@Tkat97 something about an artist’s aversion to experimentation or something of that sort

@Chrysanthemum14 Yes I got that correct
By chance do you know what the first answer to that passage was
It was like about each authors viewpoint on their respective passages?
