Does anyone remember the last Writing question in section 10? It talked about arachnids? was the answer D, the one that said “thus”?

@AwesomGuy
What was the passage about?

For question 9 in section 10, was it “each depicting”?

Can someone please explain the grid-in math question with the answer of 1200?

@Chrysanthemum14 it was the passage about the punctuation
What was passage 1 and passage 2’s viewpoints on punctuation?

@mindyt absolute value |500- (-700) | would’ve given you 1200

|(-500)- 700|
|700- (-500)|
etc, etc

@ah1217 i put something each of which depicted idk about that one

Did you guys get that math question asking for x^2-y? It was like the very last math q.

@AwesomGuy If I am thinking of the same question you are my answer was something along the lines of writing not being static.

Also, would anyone care to give me a rough estimate please??

M: 0 wrong, 0 omitted
W: 1 wrong, 0 omitted 9/10 essay
CR: 6 wrong, 1 omitted

@t3rryd4ctyl Thanks for the explanation! But do you remember the actual question? I thought the only values we could substitute were 500 and 700, so either |500-700| or |700-500| would equal 200, which is what I put smh

@mindyt I don’t remember the exact question for that but I remember the way the question was worded allowed for either -500 or +500 as well as either -700 or +700 so you had to find the right combination of positive vs. negative for the largest outcome (1200).

@redrabbit23 Idk man for the first question of the punctuation passage i put an answer about passage 1 thinking something was not rigid or something of that sort i dont remember to be honest

I concur @synack

for the one about punction, did you guys write they both agree on the fact that language can be clear

I wrote that bc the first one gave examples of how like even with improper grammar, the sentence was still clear and like the second directly talked about how punction makes the language clearer

I thought the language changing often is not supported in the 1st passage

reactionary doesn’t make sense. Don’t worry, I got it wrong too.

@mickeymouse123 I chose the same one cause the second one obviously said that with punctuation the language will be absolutely clear. and the first one also said like without punctuation people can still understand its clarity… but who knows we might be wrong… cause there are much more people who chose static

I think I may have had an experimental math section. Did anyone have a question asking about the variable “a”?

@Mickeymouse123 no because it stated in the first passage last paragraph
about punctuation is always changing with the times
the second passage reiterates that point

@t3rryd4ctyl sorry for bothering you but I have another question
For the punctuation passage, the first question what was passage 1’s thought about punctuation? Did you put an answer that had the word rigid in it or no?
