***Official Nov 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

Reading:2 incorrect and one omitted 780
Writing: 1 incorrect 770

Really upset with the scales.

CR: 760 (3 incorrect, no omits)
M: 720 (2 incorrect, no omits)
W: 640 (6 incorrect, 8 essay, no omits)

There is absolutely no way that missing two math questions should drop me all the way down to 720. I feel like they should be a little more generous with the CR one, too. The writing curve seems fine, I’m just bad at that section lol

I would’ve sworn that I only missed one math question, too. Oh well.

1 wrong and 2 omits in math got me a 700? Really…how bad was this curve?
Funny thing is that i got only medium questions wrong lol oh well

2 wrong in reading got me an 800

One wrong in math: 750. This is the harshest curve ever on the math section

I got a 50 as a raw score in math with a 670…unfreaking believable. I’m so upset. My raw score from March was a 45 and even then I got a 650. Math is by far my weakest subject, and I worked really, really hard to break a 700. It’s so frustrating, and I’m a senior, so that was my last shot. Oh well. Do you guys know if colleges will be able to see the curve/percentiles for this test? Realistically, I got 5 more questions right on this test than on my last one, so it was a pretty nice improvement. Sigh…

@Ipreston dude I know what you mean. Apparently lots of people did well this time. I only missed two and I got a 720. Dude hope December works put better for you.

@lpreston‌ @dan213‌

You may have gotten more right this time, but the math was easier this time, too. That’s why the curve is so much harsher.

Yeah, I understand the concept, and the math definitely was easier (not THAT much easier, though…). However, it was my last shot (since scores came out the day after the deadline for the December SAT), and I really wanted to do well. Nothing I can do about it now, though.

November is one of the better months to take the SAT
you have a lot of seniors who are rushing to take it
and not that many juniors so it might be a better curve

mindyt - I know, what’s up with that? My DD scores: CR 800, M 750, W 770 - she only missed 1 math question and got a 750. I don’t understand it.

@scrappy21‌ same thing happened to me. They curve the test depending on how well everyone did in each section.
