I have four reading sections, so I definitely had an experimental one.
Do your guys know which one is the experimental one?
I think it is the one with only one question on a short passage and has some weird questions (like from which line can you prove the point? a.from lineXX to lineXX ) which I have never met before in the regular SAT question.

@FullMixedOxide I think you’re right. K+2 wouldn’t work since if k=-2 is put in, k+2 would be 0, which cannot qualify as a divisor. -2 is a feasible choice because it’s an integer.

According to @YangWenli and @Chrysanthemum14, the correct answer choice was most likely authenticity … artifice. The writers were not using rhetoric, and artifice means “clever or cunning devices” (referring to textual and literary devices I guess). The opposite would be to present the text in an authentic and plain way.

im pretty sure authenticity and artifice are the answers

@clydeqian It’s the one about a boy who was born in France and came to the United States for the first time blahblah. About him and his uncle.

@satissomuchfun the qualification was that k had to be an even integer greater than 0

@clydeqian Doing four reading sections is just HORRIBLE, btw.

@AchieveLife It was an even integer, but nothing was said about 0. I’m pretty positive because I looked for requirements when I was thinking about -2.

@satissomuchfun I think I had four reading sections on my October SAT. For this test I had the two 35 question writing sections, which wasn’t all too bad. I couldn’t really tell the difference between the normal and the experimental one though.

@satissomuchfun well in the end the answer is still 2 :)

@FullMixedOxide Oh I only knew it after the test because a friend of mine didn’t do it : )

did anybody put “except” as an error for one of the writing questions?

@AchieveLife Yep! : )

@Dynasty21 yes. as of now my math and writing are looking fairly good but my reading is going to TANK. I just hope I score 580+ on reading tbh because a 720 on math with a 580 on reading would get me in the zone for that scholarship

Does anyone remember any questions from the experimental test sections? I didn’t keep track of the number of times any particular section showed up and now I have no clue of what my experimental could have been…

I had four reading sections. Was either the corn or the Island with Beth or the pencil an experimental pasage? Do you guys remember what the 20 minute reading section about?

Was the k+2/2/-2 question on the experimental section because i dont remember having it

@Dynasty21 all those sections wernt experimental.i had all of them and an experimental writing

@chx177 it wasnt experimental
