Where can I check my transfer credits? NYUHome? If so, what page will that be?

Login to NYU Albert and then look under admissions. There is a link that says Transfer credits. They will show up there if they posted it. Hope that helps!

I wish I had a pin for Albert.

When I called admissions they said they were sending out decisions at different times for every school. So if your transfer credits haven’t showed up yet that may just mean that your school send out decisions later…they told me they wouldn’t start sending out decisions for the global liberal studies program until mid-may.

@Rememberthenight

Got it. thanks, and mine still hasn’t showed up yet. I just called the admission, and it is just sad that the representative told me they are going to release the decision at the end of this month. We probably will not be able to hear anything today.

@KingSundru - Did they indicate that might affect the admissions decision for people who have yet to be admitted?

I have a friend who goes to the School of Visual Arts nearby and wanted to know if I would room with her if I got into NYU, so thankfully I won’t be screwed if they accept me with no housing.

You guys are lucky that your applications are complete. At the recommendation of the associate director of admissions, I just sent my high school transcript… again :(

Did anyone who was rejected have their transfer credits show up an Albert?

Oh my god I cannot wait any longer for this decision…I am going to be living in NYU dorms this summer and it will be extremely depressing if I get rejected and then spend the whole summer living on the campus.

Wait, what? No more housing for non-enrolled students? Ugh, I feel like that really sucks. I know nothing about getting an apartment, so I could really use some help if I choose NYU.

And I didn’t get any emails today. =(

^ I can help you but you need to get an acceptance first. heh

Vihzel: you said youll be using a broker?

Hi guys, I have used this site in the past but I had to create a new account. Anyway, I applied to NYU Tisch and am waiting to find out if I am accepted or not. I just wanted to say a couple of things.

First of all, a couple of weeks ago I emailed NYU’s Tech support because I couldn’t see the status of my application, i.e whether or not all of my papers had been received. So a few days later I got a response that said in the subject "Application “Status” and then in the body it said “Current Primary Role: Degree Student” then it left me a number to call if I had questions. I did not call because I wanted to wait for my official acceptance or rejection letter but I am going to pose the question to you guys. What on earth does it mean that my application status is degree student???

Secondly I wanted to let you guys know that I am a student at City College New York and I am just finishing up my sophomore year. I am living at the CUNY dorms (which I love!) and that just this coming semester they are opening the dorms to non-CUNY students, so I plan on still living there if I am accepted into NYU!
If you want any information on these dorms (which I highly recommend) you can find their website by searching for “CCNY Towers”. Hope this is helpful to anyone freaking out about housing in NYC! :)

A degree student means you’re applying to obtain a bachelor’s degree, as opposed to just taking classes for the hell of it.

@mspivey

What program did you apply to @ tisch?

Does anyone know the answer to GloablStudies’ question as to whether or not transfer credits show up on Albert for those who are rejected?

My transfer credits just showed up. Yay. I am soooo happy. I applied to Stern. :)

@danny8 I applied to Tisch’s Film and TV program.

@caligulashorse yup that is what I thought so I didn’t bother calling them! Thanks!

@lolgirl2345: congrats! Were ur application stuff all checked off before ur transfer credit showed up?

@mspivey

me too! Im going into second year.
Do you wanna trade portfolios so we can
get a sense of other applicants?

p.s. have your credits showed up?

Has anyone else seen “processing” flash in red on the application status/transfer credit pages? I’m wondering whether it means anything.
(Hoping that it does–why would they go through credits if only to deny you?)
