@slickguy: Yes! I was beginning to get the feeling that people saw my comment as more arrogance than not (or it was being ignored, which is completely acceptable). But it really is true! One thing against NYU for me is that I would probably evolve into a complete hipster instead of the half of one that I am now, haha.

@icelash – I sent in my unofficial final transcript through fax and am still waiting (I did this because I’m neurotic and without being asked about 2 weeks ago). Considering they asked you, could you fax in those grades for a faster result time frame?

@Lauren229 I just sent them my unofficial transcript, but the email says that their final decision is based off the official transcript that they receive, so I’ll have to wait for them to receive the official transcript my school will send them.

Anyone from MCC get in or have their credits showing yet?

^
na. nothin yet bro :(

FYI, registration and enrollment for courses just appeared in my Albert – anyone already enroll in the classes yet?

for any of you guys waiting for financial aid info, have you tried looking at the FA tab on Albert? I was only accepted yesterday and I thought FA info would come by mail, but I logged on and it was there.

I expected it, but the award is pretty pathetic; a $6k grant for a $60k school just doesn’t cut it. Needless to say, I think it’s safe to send my deposit to Gtown. Good luck to everybody who is still waiting. I hope to see some of the future Sternies on the street one day haha

■■■■■ @Lauren. I know what you mean. I live in the center of Chicago and it’s hard not to convert to that style. ]:

Ahh financial aid came in. 19k in grant/scholarship, 3k in work study, then the rest in loans. Do you know if I could email the financial aid office for more money on the grant/scholarship side?

@Ultramilkwai - I’m also trying to appeal for more financial aid. I can only find the form for continuing students, so I’m going to contact the financial aid office. I read that if they do decide to give you more money, it’s typically only 1-2k more. /:

Haha, I was thinking of asking the financial aid office directly. Do we need to fill out a form? Even if it’s 1k-2k, I guess it’s 1k-2k less that we have to pay haha.

Uhhhhh. This? :

Maybe? Haha. I’m still going to call.

So I was accepted on Thursday (got my email then), but nothing has changed on my Albert page - no transfer credits, no financial aid info, no option to accept enrollment. What’s going on? Is that usual?

I called yesterday to ask about housing. I was told there are still available dorms for transfers. And that I should wait until they email me about the housing offers so I can apply.

Has anyone received the housing email?

@kearyn… I gave in my admission deposit on the 24th and I got the housing e-mail yesterday. I was given 4 different housing options to choose from.

I applied to Stern, and my transfer credit showed up on Albert.
does that mean this is a good sign?

has anyone got rejected or waitlisted after the transfer credit has been posted?

Yeah andrew06, most likely you are accepted, i think that everyone who’s transfer credits have shown up have been accepted.

Which were…?

@Hotblack I was given four choices too, which were Coral Towers, greenwich hotel, second street and carlyle court.

I think we can confirm transfer credits means you are in. Guarenteed.
