<p>Nothing here for a MCC major from So Cal. They told me on tuesday my app hadn’t even been reviewed yet, I did apply the night before the deadline. hopefully soon! i wanna choose between USC, UCLA and… NYU!</p>
<p>While I am going to assume this is not the case, has NYU given a definitive final day for admittance decisions for all transfers? Has a counselor accidently “spilled the beans” to anyone with an actual date?</p>
<p>MCC here too, and still no word. Tuesday I will officially give up and pick a different school. This program was my first choice though, hands down. This process has been disappointing, to say the least.</p>

<p>So according to last years waitlist thread people that did actually make it were offered terrible financial aid. Waitlisters get the bottom of the barrel when it comes to financial aid making NYU even more unaffordable :(</p>

<p>MCC applicant here, back from a phone call to the NYU admissions office–such fun!</p>
<p>She said if "* don’t have a decision by this evening I should receive it by Tuesday evening "(remember Monday is a holiday).</p>

I have received very nice final grades from my current institution, survived the rapture, and arrived to the cusp of June. Could you please let me know whether or not I shall attend NYU soon? I’d like to plan the rest of my life accordingly.

<p>By the way, I remember reading somewhere that they accept your transfer credits but the grades are not counted towards the NYU GPA. Can anyone elaborate on this? I hope it’s true because I got two B’s this semester and went from 4.0 to 3.6.</p>

Ugh, every time I call they give me a date and it never happens, I don’t know if I should call… but at least you know it’s all of us waiting and not just you :)</p>
<p>I got 13k… That barely covers my housing cost. They want me to take out 40k in loans

<p>@kearyn That’s usually how transfer credits work. They find equivalent courses to give you credit for, but they don’t include the grade in your GPA.</p>

<p>I have been following this thread for a while, it makes me feel a whole lot better about still hearing nothing. I just got off the phone with a counselor and she said 6/2 or 6/3 should be the last day for notifications. although i am pretty convinced at this point I wont be admitted it sure would be nice to know either way.</p>

<p>@Lauren229 I can’t believe how accurate you are with the hipster description you posted yesterday. A coworker of mine is from Midwest and is attending NYU, and is a hardcore Apple fan, drinks chai tea and lattes all the time, picked up a photography hobby, and lives in Park Slope! I lol’d.</p>

<p>I got an email from NYU asking me to send them my final transcript/spring semester grades.</p>
<p>It also said “we are hoping to make all final decisions by the end of next week.”</p>
<p>That means I probably won’t even find out before the end of this month… The wait is killing me.</p>
