<p>kinda worried about the housing/$1000 deposit, because it is due tomorrow supposedly right? And on the housing website they have not received mine yet, even though I sent it a week ago :/</p>
<p>JUST CALLED! The man said a decision had been made for me and when I asked him to tell me he said they can’t but it was a “favorable” decision… should I be this excited!!!</p>

<p>LOL! I told the guy I had to know because of a deadline for another school, thank you! I haven’t gotten the e-mail yet but he said “the news is favorable so make your plans accordingly…”</p>
<p>I’m MCC as well & called this morning. They’re finalizing decisions today and if they will go out tomorrow afternoon and Thursday. They told me to call back this afternoon after 3 to address my application. I don’t know what to expect…I’m really hoping it’s something good, but either way I just want to know so I can plan my summer :/</p>
<p>I’m very surprised Lafayette isn’t on the list for transfer housing–it’s been a stable choice for years.
Anyone that does want to live on campus should make sure to check out NYU Locals “guide” to transfer housing. More critiques than data.</p>
<p>I applied as MCC too, and as of this morning my financial aid status changed from not having access to showing up as 2012…that’s a good sign, right? Other than that I haven’t received an e-mail, and my transfer credits haven’t shown up.</p>
<p>Just kidding! The e-mail came, and I’m in! Now to wait on the financial aid package…</p>

<p>@ladida, I called undergrad admissions and had them transfer me to a counselor, he said e-mails were being sent today and then I got it.</p>
<p>In a nutshell, I had a 3.95 on about 60ish units, I was editor in chief of my college lit magazine, part of my college’s honors college and I participated in a variety of fundraisers for causes like Haiti. I know one of my recs in particular was stellar because the professor is just amazing, and I think my essays were also well-written (I spent a lot of time on them) I hope you all get in! xxx</p>
