<p>does anybody know if it matters if you drop a class after being accepted? I would still have 12 credits completed. I am just really flustered right now and don’t want to write a 10 page term paper -_-</p>
<p>I wouldn’t assume that it does. A lot of people drop classes and get “W” on their transcript. Just note to make sure you have a W, rather than a W followed by another notation that indicated you dropped the course while failing or doing poorly. Other than that, I would assume they are understanding as to dropping classes. You could always call the admissions office and ask?</p>
<p>you should call and check with the admissions counselor for sure. they will prolly approve it as long as it isn’t a course related to your major. friend got rescinded at ucla for dropping a major prereq w/o approval. but then again i guess nyu doesn’t really have major prereqs besides stern</p>

<p>hey i need some help–i cant tell if i got in-when i enter my SS and my birthday it now takes me to a page that says “your netID is XXXXX” and it lets me set up a password (but then it freaks out and stops working)</p>
