<p>Major- computer science</p>
<p>college gpa- 4.00</p>
<p>high school gpa- 3.48</p>
<p>Wow, that’s all I can say.</p>
<p>Wow, what a depressing day: too many rejections. They could’ve at least sprinkled in a few accepteds. </p>
<p>And enve, that’s terrible. Are you a sophomore transfer or a junior transfer? I feel like if you’re a junior transfer, then it doesn’t matter nearly as much.</p>
<p>Junior transfer, my hs grades may not matter as much, but the fact that they will be reviewing my app after so many others scares me…</p>

<p>ellomeno, you can’t really check unless you see your transferred credits, but considering i have 60 credits already i’m applying as a junior, but could be in sophomore standing if accepted</p>
<p>Oh, ok, it’s not as terrible though. And yea, I agree, sturosier’s stats look amazing. I really hope (s)he is a sophomore transfer, otherwise I’ll lose a lot of hope.</p>

<p>Does anyone know if they make a note in your file every time you call to check on your application? I have already called multiple times to check on missing things (which I have sent multiple times and still aren’t there…?). I want to call again and check but not if they know how many times iv’e already checked…I don’t want to look annoying/ desperate haha</p>
<p>Oh man, @sturosiers stats are pretty impressive. I have nothing compared to that only my hs gpa. Oh god. This makes me really nervous now.</p>
<p>@coolio nope, I applied as a junior lol. I have about 70 credits. I was missing 2 courses which i would take during the summer: chemistry and diff. equations.

<p>Wowwww. I feel like a 4.0 with 70 credits would be enough to just completely ignore your high school record. I’m sorry man, that’s terrible.</p>
<p>Update - They filed it under an incorrect name. God, the NYU office just seems very inefficient. </p>
<p>I think the fact that I got a midterm grade request today means that they started reviewing my application today. So I was probably in the second round of applicants considered. Hopefully I’ll hear soon.</p>
<p>That’s unfortunate that a 4.0 got rejected since i’ve seen quite a few sub 3.5s accepted. That being said, what were your SATs?</p>
<p>@sturosier - Not to be rude or anything, but I think your incomplete course requirements may have hurt you, especially since you are a junior transfer. Junior transfers probably have less time to complete al their requirements, so that may have been a major factor behind your rejection. Feel for you, man. =(</p>
<p>And don’t lose too much hope guys. While it’s appalling that sturoiser got denied, there are people with lower GPAs and stuff that DID get in (no offense to those who I’m talking about =D). </p>
