Does everyone have the Off Campus Housing tab and is able to access the housing search? I read that the NYU housing portal is only open to students. If clicking that tab on my NYU Home page opens a portal where I’m able to access the housing search should that be a good sign? Or is that normal?
@hfeiruwnhwg, when I click that link it takes me to a page that says my name and ID, says I don’t have a meal plan for spring 2015, and gives me options to select one to be added.
NEW DEVELOPMENT, NEED CONFIRMATION!!! ALSO STILL HAVENT GOTTEN AN EMAIL* So I was going to NYU Home through Google, for what ever reason, I typed in NYU Home, I clicked the first link and it took me to a page I hadn’t seen before. I went back to google and tried again, same thing, but this time I explored a bit more. Some frantic research later, I come to find out its NYU’s version of Blackboard (NYUClasses). I don’t know what this means and I’m trying to keep my head still, and I’m really pissed its Saturday! Like, I have an NYU email! However, that could be because I was given an NYU ID when I submitted my application, and it could just be standard, but I need to know. Is there anybody who has been accepted (or rejected) who can confirm whether or not this is a thing???
Also, the Terms of Use for NYUClasses said that ‘students with an active NYU ID are eligible to use’, so it could be because i have an ID…
@dipam21 I also have access to the off campus housing registry and haven’t seen any changes whatsoever so I’m assuming everyone sees that page
@tywalker90 Someone on the thread last year was able to log into an email account but when they tried to send an email, it didn’t work. Try sending an email to the nyu email and see if it works!
Also for those who haven’t seen changes (like me), others were seeing changes in housing and financial aid pages the second week of May as well. I’m assuming nyu does this a few days before decision days but I’m gonna go ahead and guess all of you who have seen changes recently have an acceptance coming your way next week! (knocks on wood to not jinx anyone).
I’m also able to log into nyu classes? This is such a cute lil blackboard dealio aw i like it + I can access the meal plan thing but spring 2015 shows up. I think anyone w/ an nyu ID and password can access just about anything in their system
@tywalker90 I clicked the same link via google and was also taken to NYUclasses. I clicked on profile and my name was there with options for me to change my profile kind of like an “about me” etc. Also my NYU ID is in the top right corner. I clicked preferences and I saw “email settings” with my personal ID@nyu.edu, so like my nyu email address? I don’t know what this means but I can’t help being excited.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think I noticed any of these changes before I was accepted. So for those who don’t see anything, don’t freak out!
I haven’t seen any changes besides the off campus housing tab/portal working and having the option to select a meal plan. I’ve seen no changes on Albert, it still says I’m an applicant. But the NYUClasses page worked for me and had my info on it… NYU WHY ARE YOU TOYING WITH US
