what was the answer to this question:
what is a triangle’s max area if two of its sides are 7 and 10 units?

also, the last problem about 1/(n)(n+1), or something like that?
any idea what that was about/how to solve?

Sh$# M@%#@#$ Fuc##$

I should Have gotten that one right, I just worked it out and it is 6. F
F F

So I know for an absolute Fact that I missed AT Least 3 Math Problems.

I missed the second Fire Truck and the Triangle inside of a Triangle one. Plus I left one blank.

So to be safe If I take of another 5 problems. Let’s say I missed 8 total Math Problems, what does that score??

Yes, the answer was D) 24/50

You cancel everything out.

(1/2 - 1/3) + (1/3 - 1/4) …
The 1/3 cancel out, and same with the followign terms

At the end, you are left with (1/2)-(1/50) = 24/50

Don’t worry, this section was experimental.

Lollerskates. My answere was 35. But I bet the real answer was 70. Anyone else have any input on that one? and you’ll have to explain the other problem a little better I can’t really remember that one.

wow azn, are you sure it was experimental?
that was the only question i skipped, and i never skip any math questions!
hallelujah!

what is a triangle’s max area if two of its sides are 7 and 10 units?

the area is given by (1/2)ab sin(theta) and since sin(theta) at largest is 1, then .5710 = 35

yessssss. Thank goodness I got that one right.

So to be safe If I take of another 5 problems. Let’s say I missed 8 total Math Problems, what does that score??

Below 700 for sure.

thanks bob! i don’t think that’s how to solve it though; no precalc on the SATs, i thought. i could have (i did calc las year), but i chose 35 as a guess. let’s hope you’re right!

Somebody said the Jesse Jackson Question was experimental. But I still want to know what the right answer was.

The question was like Jesse Jackson is often controversal but you can not question his___________

I put the Summ word. does anyone remember the right answer.

“”““Below 700 for sure.””“”

Thank you, So Let’s say I was underestimating myself and only mis 4 or 5.

My goal was to beat my previous score of 630. So I’m hoping for a 660 and I hopping to at least get a 640. It would Suck Sooooo bad to get the same score as Last March’s test.

8 wrong would be 660 or 680 i believe

It’s okay.
I’m predicting a 600…
OH MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN.

I really feel like my raw score will be less than 48.
Ugh, and that’s a 580-640?
Wow…

I never checked my answers with everything but I really do feel like I incorrectly answered 15~ questions.

ANYONE IN THE SAME BOAT? haha…

Edit: Oops. I was talking about CR…and no one else was haha.

And i put down 5 as well…I swear i was so sure that it was 5…and now when I do it its friggin 6!!! wat the hell was i thinking

(its wierd i usually have the worst problem becuz I overthink or go through the easy ones too fast(I just cant get that middle perfectnist :P)

when do we get our scores, I’m gonna be so nervous when ever I check them online.

LOL CH121S I know I kept tracing the squares and I kept overlapping my pen so I couldn’t remember if I had traced the squares that way or NOT. I was pretty sure it was 5 as well. until I came on hear and someone said the answer was 6. 6??? no way. And then when you do it yourself your like Urghhhhh how stupid.

yeah We get the scores the 24th…too much tim to think of all the ones i got wrong…I omitted one as well but luckily that was in the exper. section(atleast I think it was) So im hoping for 2-3 wrong i had 600 last time so i should be thankful for a sub-700 thats over 600 the only thing is im smart enough for a 800 lol i just dumb mistakes sometimes…

Sorry if this has already been asked, but for the last grid on problem, with the triangle inside the rectangle, will they still accept 23.3?

I realize the answer could be (and probably should be) written as 70/3, but wasn’t thinking correctly. A friend said they should probably still accept it, but just wanted to make sure.

yes they accept decimals

for those that had four math sections , experimental… were any of the following problems in the same section?: i know i missed each of these and want to know if its possible two were in experimental or w.e.

II problem

firetruck = 6 problem

70 degreee angle problem

t = -2 problem

i know i missed those 4…is it possible one or two or whatever was in experimental?

firetruck is nto exper. I don believe 70 degree or II prob was in exper. either though im not exactly sure about any except the firetruck
