Official October SAT Predictions

sad how some people write such high scores… just to boost their ego…

Math: 800 (hopefully)
CR: 580 (not even kidding)
Writing: 680 (if i could get 10 on essay)

my past scores:
Math: 790(!!!)
CR: 550
Writing: 660

I don’t think most people are posting high scores to boost their ego; if they’ve done practice/real SATs they should know what they’re capable of and make a decent estimate.

sksol: I don’t think you should count the 2400 unless Sweet Ambrosia’s score is near that. If someone estimates 2400 I think they should be fairly confident that they’ll score 2300+. I think getting rid of some of the anomalies would help, there’s probably a few ego boosters in the predictions we have already.

Predictions:

math 590
W 630
CR 520

Total: 1740/2400

Last time:

Math: 580
Writing: 560
CR: 490

1630/2400

Yeah, im not that good with SATS

math: 740…haha, j/k, i’m hoping for that, i think i’ll get a 680 though
cr: 530
writing: 620

i’m done with the SATs! (no matter what kind of score i will get in ~20 hours)

previous scores (i don’t know what happened that day)
Math: 710
Critical Reading: 610
Writing: 590

Psat:
Math: 76
Critical Reading: 62
Writing: 66

Prediction:
Math: 750-800
Critical Reading: 600-650
Writing: 620-680

Total: 1350-1450 / 1970-2130

We’ll see how close I am

Have any of you walked out after the test thinking you’ve bombed it, but actually scored high? Thats what I felt after the October test, but when I took it in March without any prep but crappy PrincetonReview and not actually focusing on my progress, I came out feeling confident, but ended up getting a horrific 1750…

Yes, I’m going to do a bell curve and calculate standard deviation SSR S sub e and all that fun stuff, that was my goal when making this thread. When you post your actual scores, be sure to tell how far off you were from your predictions.

My previous scores of 06/2005: 500M 760CR 630W

Predicted scores:
540M 770CR 690W

We’ll see. I am going to die waiting! Maybe I’ll just work on my English project until 3 AM (more to distract myself than actually to do the project) and then check my scores.

My Prediction:

Critical Reading: 670

Math: 740

Writing: 730

Total = 2140 ; got 2080 on last SAT try … am I being too generous?

On the last SAT i got 700 CR but this new one i totally bombed the vocabulary after looking at the postings on this board. CRAP! oops im late for church gotta nrun

Have any of you walked out after the test thinking you’ve bombed it, but actually scored high?

I don’t think that’s ever happened to me on these tests. Everytime I feel confident or feel like I’ve done okay, it’s like I did okay or either horrible. I’m pretty good when it comes to predicting my own scores on these tests.

I was feeling confident now you’ve got me all tense…Dammit!

wow europe girl, thats an odd math to CR ratio. I bet if you just studied math a little bit your scores would be well into the 2200’s.

Man, don’t you just love that feeling when the blood is rushing through your veins as you press the sign in button on the CB website and quickly push the “your scores are in” red link. Wow. It’s intense.

I don’t think anyone’s trying to boost their ego. Personally, I read the 68-page thread discussing the questions so I kind of have an idea of how I did…

And when you’ve been here long enough 700s=average, lol

Oh how I hope my scores all went up!..I refuse to take another standardized test until the VCATs

Math…up to 760 from a 720

Critical Reading…down to 780 from an 800

Writing…up to 760 from a 740

total…up 2300 from a 2260

Ok well lets predict my SATII scores, because, well… I want to. I"m sure you all care deeply. Here goes.

Literature - 780
Math IC - 690

Aah I really hope I did well on literature, Math is kind of a lost cause, I would be ecstatic as long as it began with a 7. Oh well, only like 20 hours to go!

I’m assuming SAT IIs count as well?
600+ for Spanish
I hate SAT II languages.

math:720
CR:680
W:740

Total: 2140
