Personal Comment:I believe if your academics are strong and you have been involed in lots of activities, you will have a shot even with low SAT scores because everyone doesn’t test well. I am so happy to be in university park for the fall of 2010. Congrats to all that has been accepted and good luck to those that are still waiting. Don’t give up hope because it is not to late!!!

You should recieve your decision tomorrow, my status changed to that on Friday and I got accepted this morning. As you can see our scores are similar I got 580 math, 520 CR and 530 Writing. I also got my acceptance package in the mail today so the decision was made before it showed online. So don’t throw the towel in just yet, you will get in!!! Dlax205

Thanks! I still have hope, i want to make it into fall but im not sure i will :frowning: summer is alright but then its an even tougher decision
So i should hear online tomorrow? and get the package in a few days?

Stars, what did you apply? Did you apply for a specific major or undecided?
I have the same stats pretty much exactly. 3.4 GPA 1890.

I just got the “decision will be posted here in the coming days.” I am kind of on pins and needles not knowing what to think. Tomorrow morning can’t come to soon, but I’m not sure what to think or expect.

does any1 know if you find out about scholarships in our acceptance packet, or does it come later??

ACCEPTED! Eberly College of Science at University Park

GPA: 3.75
SAT: 1710 (combined) :frowning:
outstanding e.c’s
5 AP’s (AP Scholar), IB Diploma Candidate

I think being Hawaiian and OOS could have set me apart from others. Also, I’m taking physics and bio at a local community college.

I didn’t think I was going to get in but keep your thoughts positive. I got accepted online this morning and received the official “welcome to penn state” folder today in the mail as well :)

I was denied admission to Architecture program, but then got a package in the mail today saying I was admitted to Landscape Architecture, bitter sweet situation I guess.

Alot of people here have been talking about how Architecture program is already full. Good luck with whatever you choose.

How does it work if you apply to architecture and aren’t admitted into it? Does the application ask you for a second choice, and admit you to that choice? And are you never able to get into architecture after that?
