California?

Darn, I was really hoping for New Orleans. I don’t find too many fellow Louisianians on CC. Where else…?

Yay!!! We are so close to less than thirty days!!! WOOOO!!!

8-14 inches of snow for NJ, md, de!!!
Woooh!
Looks like I’ll be spending tomorrow sledding =)

As for the fertile crescent, that sounds so familiar…
Like I learned about it in history class or read a fantasy book where it was set in the “land of the fertile crescent.”

The fertile crescent from history was the regions between the Eurphates and another region where civilization began because there the land was fertile.

right… yeah history was never my favorite subject.

But the fertile crescent of the United states?

Idk about the one in the US? Maybe the bread basket which is the midwest?

Oh and is anyone else loving how we are in march, which means only 30 days left. And I am loving how spring break means that for 7 of those 30 days I get to just chill. Which means that for 14 days out of 30 (grouping all the breaks and weekends together) we wont be in school, so only 16 days of school before decisions come out.

haha Dbate, i love how you have worked out every possible situation to make it seem closer. I do that too!! Fertile crescent… hmm… ill think about that one. Oy im from PA and we are getting 8-12 inches, but right now im down at Wake Forest for Presidential Scholars weekend and I was looking forward to some warmer weather(i do adore snow though) and it is freezing and icing here and they are expecting 6 inches of snow. Just my luck. Im so happy time is finally starting to go by a little faster.

It’s incredible that we’re down to only 30 days! It’s amazing how fast time flies when you’re in the hospital…

We got quite a bit of snow, too, although it isn’t unusual for us.

How is it living where it snows? Down here in Texas on the rare night we get snow (and it only ever lasts for 1 night usually) everyone goes outside and plays. But in the Northeast what is snow like? I think probably one of the biggest changes is going to be weather for me.

Snow? In ATX it’s around 60 degrees at the moment. HAH.

I love snow, but it can be more annoying than anything. We also get huge snowdrifts in our driveway, and if the roads are really bad we cancel going into town, since we live 30 miles out. Other than that, snow is great. :)

Edit: I’m in Montana, not the northeast. Them, I can’t speak for.

Yes, I’m an April Fools baby ![]()
Maybe I’ll get a rejection email on the 31st and then a “April Fools! You’re In!” on the 1st… wishful thinking, haha :)

lol, yeah in ATX it was actually like 89 a couple days ago.

Mishpeeesh, maybe your birth was an April Fools joke, lol!

1 MONTH.

wow.

South Louisiana = snow every 12 years. Literally, we went 12 years between snowfalls, but there have been 2 in the last 4 years. So much for global warming.

Snowed 6-8 inches on a single day last week here in the midwest.

Yeah pswib, like two Christmases ago it actually snowed for a night and all I could think about was how it seemed that global warming was not having an effect at all, because if anyone lives in houston you know it almost NEVER snows.
