Official Princeton ED Results- Class of 2011

nah… their office opens only at 8:45, that is like two hours… and i think they’ll take some time to send the mail… so lets expect it after 5 hours

ah i cant wait that long…(actualli i can since av waited for a month). Any suggestions on how to pass time?

awww but you know I don’t mean it =(

I really do hope you get in…you’re so dedicated!

thanks oasis hug

i was just pretending to be offended

Look, you guys, calm down. This will not determine the entire course of the rest of your future. Sure, I applied ED, sure, I’m not sure if I will get in. I think that I have good chances, but honestly, if you’re good, then whether or not you get into Princeton, you will succeed in life. I know that this advice tastes just like vinegar, and I perfectly well understand your distress, but try to keep things in perspective. Those of you complaining that your 2300 SAT scores are embassing…tsk tsk. Do not look upon it in that way. What is past is past, what matters is that however your fate turns out, you cannot make a difference right now anyway: Princeton has already sealed up your future in an envelope. At this point, try to relax and focus upon the more important things in life, namely, friends, family, the holidays, pursuing your interests, exploring new options.

IM IN!!! stats later… im so psyched…i cant wait to meet everyone… good luck to everyone that was deffered!!!

yo grkscientist, where are you from?

He’s from NYC.

okay, im international, and the whole day I’ve been thinking “no letter=rejection” when i came home guess what?? NO LETTER, so I called UPS and asked them when they deliver, and they said from 12- 5:30 so I have like an hour of hope. How Dramatic…

Try the notorious UPS method that is already causing everyone grief. =p

I went to the post office this morning and asked for my mail.

Hooray! Accepted!

I live in Alabama so most others should arrive today.

Congrats, grkscientist and bravos!
(and post your stats, pretty please)

Ah 1-2 hours until mail :)

Has anyone called or e-mailed about the situation with obtaining the decision online or over the phone? (International or USA)

I WANT MY EMAIL!!!

OMG, i haven’t received anything… even the deferral or rejection…

So, does this late email reception mean sth bad???

Has the office sent decision emails to international applicants?

Nope, still waiting…

RB Trix: DEAL WITH IT! You can’t even say whether or not you were deferred, so stop complaining and feeling bad for yourself. Princeton is a tough University, and if you weren’t accepted, there must be a reason.

DEFERRED…i dont understand this at all
i know you cant expect to get in but my counselor was shocked
i have a 4.25 gpa, 34 ACT, i work 20 hrs a wk, take all APs, am on the cabinet for a national organization (20+ hrs a wk)
i really dont understand this at all

that’s princeton for you…

Decision: ACCEPTED

Can’t believe it. After seeing so many excellent people get deferred, my hopes were zero. Scores aren’t everything I guess.
