GR Elton, did you just get this today?

No. I hadn’t posted in a while, and I just decided to come back today.

I look forward to becoming the Valedictorian at Princeton as well. Lol, jk, but I do intend to (being able to will be a different story).

P.S. Clenden, I only had a 2320 :

Don’t lose heart. Not everyone has a 2350 who got into Princeton.Trust me. However I do know having a serious musical talent can be very helpful to admissions. It would help to audition in person and to make clear how important music is to you. My d’s parents didn’t go to name brand schools and she just got in. Keep your chin up and produce a beautiful tuba solo .

waiiit why is everyone apologizing to omz??
she was DEFERRED, right?

of course all of us deferrees will get into Princeton RD
riiiiight? ;)

haha of course, pleonasm, of course. ;]

As for the music solos, I sent in a piano one about a month late.
I originally wasn’t going to send one in because I didn’t have the appropriate songs ready, but then my interviewer called and they said go ahead and send it in.
That might have been bad…and the fact that piano is so common.

Maybe I’ll send in jazz voice?
Then again that’s not too unique either.

lol ok, im back temporarily from frantically working on my other apps.

OMZ i am truly sorry you got deferred.

believe it or not, i’ve rebounded pretty well from my deferral. i prepared myself to expect a deferral. i actually started working on my Columbia app within 30 min. of reading my deferral from princeton(haha)

lol don’t attack me, but now im interested in other schools(like Columbia). ive escaped my tunnel vision and researched it, and i’ve discovered how amazing it is.

hope u other deferrees do the same.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL ACCEPTEES. YOU ALL DESERVE IT :):D:)

pk, I’m glad for you (well, not that you were deferred, but that you found some other schools). I hope that if I’m deferred I’ll be able to do the same as you. Best wishes on your future applications…

thx mate.
btw, i hope u get in jon. lol regular apps stink :(

thanks everyone for your support. Princeton forum rocks

Thanks pk! That means a lot, especially coming from you.

Speaking of which, I think I need to start researching a few other schools too besides You-Know-Whatsley.
It’s probably not very wise to get dedicated to a single school all over again.

Pfft…come on deferrals, you guys will all get in.

(We’ll round up a gang of CC acceptances and protest Princeton into getting you guys in.)

FORCE IN NUMBERS!

C’est la vie!

(Too much cough medicene, lol!)

Again, congrats to all acceptees (I hope to join you), and I’m sorry for those of you who were deferred (I probably will be joining you). Good luck on the rest of your applications. Unless my decision doesn’t come tomorrow, my 500th post will be my decision post. Before then, I just want say that this forum has been great (and an addiction lol!)! Pton forum rocks!

Wow 499 Amazing.

post-question: does anybody know if princeton denies anybody in early decision or are most non-accepted deferred?

Janet Rapelye was quoted in the Daily Princetonian as saying that they only rejected about 100 students for early decision this year.

Hey
My sister is a sophomore at Princeton. She really likes it. She says that the only thing about it that she isn’t so crazy about is the social aspect of Princetonian life. She came from an all-girls’ boarding school in south England, and when she got to Princeton, she found the eating club thing a little harsh (She applied for one, didn’t get in, her roommate did, my sister felt socially unaccepted, cried for days). So that’s the only thing she didn’t like about it. She’s deciding what to do for her major right now. She was thinking of majoring in Woody Wil, but now she’s not so sure. She likes Politics, and History, or Comparative Literature.

hey olivia…have u got ur descision yet?
yea i herd some of the eating clubs are luck of the draw but the others require interviews and “tasks”…quite an interesting concept…
