<p>Hey, I think Princeton accidentally sent me an congratulatory letter of acceptance. It said “Congratulations! Upon review of your application to Princeton University, we are delighted to offer you a position in the Class of 2015. Your hard work throughout high school both inside and outside of the classroom proved to our admissions officers that you are more than worthy of such an honor…” It went on to say that financial aid info would be released within a few weeks and they hoped that I would visit, etc. </p>

<p>Did anyone else get one of these???</p>

<p>I agree with ccuser18, it really is hard to believe someone getting an accidental early acceptance. I hope I get in :)</p>

<p>A likely letter does not offer a position to the 2015 class. It says they are very impressed with the applicant and that they should expect good news on the 30th. What dfitz19931993 posted was exactly what an official acceptance letter would look like. That is why I do not buy it.</p>

<p>@dfitz19931993 Omg you got a letter too?? I went to get my mail today and I got a letter form princeton wondering what it was… IT WAS AN ACCEPTANCE LETTER!!! Please tell me your not lying cuz maybe they sent them out to only a select few… I’m so confused and I need some input… i pray to god this isn’t a mistake and that i actually got in because i’m so stressed out by this college process…</p>

<p>^^ you are a liar. Why? Because you spelled “you’re” as “your”. I doubt you were accepted.</p>

<p>@beccar0ni you also forgot to mention i spelt because wrong, i doubt you were accepted either. I’m not lying i’m just overly excited and really upset because my pet turtle just died. So i’m very bitter sweet right now… don’t be a jerk and be considerate of other people’s feelings. I posted on this to get help with my question but instead there are people like you are that are ruining the college confidential community. Please stop being a jerk.</p>

<p>@lorenzoeblair: Thank you for understanding my situation. There are so many ■■■■■■ on this site. Some kid said the only reason I got in was because I’m black and jewish and I’m like seriously??? It’s way easier for whites to get in. People should know their facts before talking.</p>

<p>Yeah, I hate to pour gasoline on the fire, but opening a decision thread ten days before the decision date probably wasn’t the best idea. ■■■■■■ get pretty hungry this time of year.</p>
