Official PSAT Score Thread

danidjg, thanks for the apology and good luck with college apps and standardized testing, and all that!

Trojansfighton, you’ll get national merit commended but unfortunately, not semi-finalist.

Annie88 How do you make that quote box?

Hey all, i just joined and im from az. my score was cr-76, m-77, w-78. anyone know the cutoff for az?

BingCold, you’re fine. 221ish is enough to qualify in the hardest states, let alone Arizona. 231 is more than enough.

Thanks a lot XBones.

In order to make a quote box, type (without the spaces that I included in the below example):
[ quote = original author’s name ]What I want quoted[ / quote]

231, AL.

took november test

No TASP application here, no college mail at all in spite of a 228 PSAT score.

I got
V=62
m=77
w=80
total= 219 select index=99
I am from NJ. We have 221 or 222 for semi finalist so I will be only commended.

I cannot for the life of me find my PSATs … but I’m pretty sure I got a 214 (California), so I’ll only be commended … which sucks because I got a way higher score on my actual SATs ): hahah

oh what did you get on sat’s?

I got a 2240.

I got a 219. National Merit for Texas (cutoff=216) 78 in writing, 76 math, and I bombed the CR (65)
Nice job theantithesisof!

thanks! good job on making the cutoff.

I just hope I can match my psat score with a similar good score on the SAT i will take in April. That way I’ll do have a chance to advance to finalist standings :D

But my God I certainly hope your SAT score is higher than a 214. Aren’t they on scales of 2400 now? :)

hahah, good point.

I’ve been on the website and I can’t find it anywhere. Even my counselor is clueless.

i got a 217 in california…do u think ill have a chance for semi-finalists??

winzton: last year Calif cutoff was 216. I’ll say a prayer for you right now that the cut off won’t go up more than one point in Calif. Please do the same for my son; his score is also one point above last years cut off for our state. “Dear God, please… Amen.”
