Does anyone know the SAT score required to make to keep NMF standing?
@hsmomof3 On other threads, I’ve seen 1980 (or was it 1960?)… but there is no published number. Most parents say it’s safer to be above 2000.
My daughter just got a clearly confirming score on her third try. She was at the supposed minimum before but we weren’t comfortable with that. Now we just have to see if she makes the fall cutoff for our state. (She’s one point above last year’s number)
Last year it was 1960, @hsmomof3 and @MplsMomTo2. And that’s using the MC subscore x 10 for the Writing score (they don’t score the essay). Good luck!

Yes, that’s correct. In the recent past it’s consistently been set at 1960, and with the upcoming PSAT/SAT changes, I don’t see them making any changes for this current class of hopefuls. (I called myself last year and outright asked, and someone at NMSC headquarters quoted the 1960 number.)
