Official Questbridge National College Match 2010-2011

Would i still need to withdraw all other apps if I do NCM but don’t list any colleges?

If you don’t list any colleges, you wouldn’t be doing the Match.

From my previous understanding, i thought you can become a finalist without listing a college? Maybe im confused, but in posts on the first page to my understanding it could be done? And also on the questbridge site it shows a timeline to finalists and it says if (not selected a college) it doesn’t go further, but i assumed that implied it could be done.

Yes, you would submit your app by Sept. 30th. You can then become a finalist and either list schools and be part of the Match, or opt out and proceed directly to the RD portion. If you do that, you can still apply to EA or ED.

It seem you understand it, just have the terminology wrong. You are applying through Questbridge program, but not participating in the Match.

So question. I know I could have written on the new thread for this year but I just wanted to ask people who already got into colleges through this program. have any international students get matched? or even received generous aid through RD? Well I guess I’m more curious about the college match. What I mean by international students is by non american living outside of the US. I emailed questbridge if international students could apply and they said yes. but curious if any were matched.

Hey are any of you trying to get matched with Princeton?? Have you filled out your financial info and faxed them in?? On QB Princeton says they’ll “Give us access to the FA Account”…does this mean they will send us an email with personalized usernames and password or we create our own accounts?
