Official RD 2006

lol, thanks. I did apply to two ivies (Harvard and Princeton) - was accepted at Harvard EA and don’t know about Princeton yet, but with this Chicago deal I don’t care much about Princeton anymore. ; )

Decision:testing

LUCK EVERYONE!!!

juba… im in WA and i got mine today :)

randomperson-- Wow, you really took 15 AP’s…and had 5’s on all of them? Those are, without a doubt, the best stats that I have ever seen. Congrats to you and everyone else on your acceptances!

haha wow matt everyone here loves you. Not to say matt is dumb (he’s a lot smarter than me), but Yi has a very very very impressive resume. Reading it makes me feel like nothing lol. Most people would get a seizure contemplating his awards.

randomperson: Choosing Chicago over Harvard?

Thanks!

Yep. And MIT, Stanford, and Caltech for that matter…

Haha, yeah. Yi makes us all look… well, not so smart, lol. When you’re brilliant enough to get a gold medal at IPhO without even being interested in the physics olympiad, you have surpassed all bounds of human ability.

Wow, awesome!

Randomperson,

I have no idea how you must be feeling right now, but I’m sure its pretty awesome - and you certainly deserve it!!! I can’t tell you how much my parents complained that I wasn’t applying to HYP after I got my Chicago letter, and I am sure that to some extent those around you - especially friends at school - will question your decision. Nevertheless, I know of a few current Chicago students who have made the same decision, and I can honestly say that all of them are still very glad that they did so. Once again, congrats on your stats, and I look forward to seeing you next fall… and people, join the “Chicago2010” aim chat!!

Admitted Chicago Students,

Does anyone want to post their aims so all accepted students can chat?

Congrats to all of you guys so far!!!

You all have amazing stats, and I am feeling intimidated if you will be in my classes here. :)

I’m in! (But I don’t think I’ll be attending.)

ahh i’m in massachusetts and nothing yet! this is the last place i’m wiating to hear from!
